The US has decisively won the tactical and operational phase of this war. Strategically, Iran is heavily degraded as its military and core industrial capabilities have been destroyed. What was already a terrible economy prewar is now completely totaled. Politically, we have no idea what the final terms will be.

As for the Strait, Trump doesn’t care at all about higher gas prices. The US is a net oil exporter, and a minimal amount of American oil and ships traverse it. He’s right, post war oil prices will decline. Wishcasting economic doom on the US doesn’t mean much to a $30.8T economy.

Iran has rolled out a new banknote of 10 million rial, the highest-ever denomination, as the country struggles to manage inflation, which is spiralling out of control amid the war.

Banks in Iran started circulating the banknotes this week, worth about $7, as Iranians stood in line to withdraw the currency over fears that ATMs may run out, which many did eventually.
It is now the highest denomination in circulation, surpassing the 5 million-rial note introduced in early February.

Markets bounced back allover the world except south Korea and India.... Brent crude was trading at 104 last I checked few hours ago.
 
Surprise surprise, Brent crude right now 103 .53 and wti crude 102 .19 .... normally spread between them is 5 dollars in favour of Brent crude.. investing.com...
