US will need to lift sanctions on Russia to sustain this war because Iran will ensure that oil and gas infrastructure across the GCC, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is destroyed. Rebuilding such infrastructure from scratch could take 15–20 years.

This crisis is unlikely to end anytime soon, and only possible way to prevent global oil and gas supplies from being further disrupted would be to lift sanctions on Russia and allow its energy exports to help stabilise global markets.

So Russia gets richer from selling more oil and gas at their highest prices in recent times while also beating the crap out of Ukraine, which seems close to some type of collapse? Wow!

Seems US can't win both the proxy war against Russia and war again Iran- at best it wins only 1, if they even happens. Serious ramifications for US over the next several years. A drained US won't defend Taiwan effectively and stupid Japan will probably end up on a suicide mission trying to Dave Taiwan from China. Just saying..
