PTI fanboys were at the forefront of psyops warfare during Bunyan un Marsoos. The government opened up twitter and PTI supporters held their own on social media platforms.

The PTI social media and affiliated accounts stood with its army when faced with the adversary. Some members here go overboard and only paint them in negative, probably out of hatred or an agenda.

On the flip side, as I mentioned earlier, the Pakistani army has Pakistan’s interest in mind, but its top echelons need to halt their supra constitutional role.

In the end, the most popular party and the most powerful institution need to find a middle ground and focus on putting Pakistan’s interests at the forefront. This means, egos on both sides need to be simmered down and dialogue should go on.

The traditional elites and the political parties who have latched on Pakistan’s coffers for the past few decades will be the net losers for obvious reason.

The other threat was sanctions and even then you could have told the americans that just like it’s "America First" for them, it’s "Pakistan First" for us. We could have agreed to limited support like border control, diplomatic pressure on the talibs or intelligence sharing at most. We could have played the role of a mediator instead of handing over our sovereignty.

Pakistan got nukes because India has nukes. Pakistan is on record as saying that Pakistan will only get rid of its nukes if India does.
