israel know what Iran did last time, so they came well prepared this time, Enhanced defenses, Electronic Warfare, Signal Spoofing, etc, etc. Unlike last 2 times, Iran cannot directly use Hypersonic missiles right off and this is what israel was counting on, this time. Hence Iran is now taking care of everything else so they can effectively target israel.
- From all accounts, Iran is only firing old missiles as of now, depleting israeli ADs.
- At the same time, they are gradually taking out military bases and Radar systems as well as AD systems on the way to israel, to make their defenses as weak as possible.
As of now, most ADs in Gulf are neutralized and Iran is now freely hitting the US airbases inn Gulf. Jordan is the major one left on the way to israel. Since yesterday, attacks on Jordanian defences have started, as well.
Once they are sufficiently sure that their hypersonics will not be countered, then the newer hypersonic missiles would come out to start targeting israel's strategic assets.
Its not only a beneficial strategy where they are taking out all threats in the region, but also a necessity as without doing so, they cannot properly hit israel, this time. Most analysts are now identifying that Iran has abandoned old strategy of simply 'hoping to evade ADs' and is now making sure there are no ADs left when it comes to their best weapons.
