Things aren't going great for Russia either. Ukraine has been doing slightly better lately. Also, the Russians seem to be preparing to have another go at Sumy in Spring but their plans are going slow. I think the only Baltic state that can fall fast is Estonia but they have too many islands.
Poland, even if by some magic they find a way to get there, is absolutely out of the question. The Russians will be defeated and humiliated there.
Our resident Russian cheerleader would disagree with you.

Of the EU nations, Poland is the most prepared and they have an axe or two to grind. They will do fine.

What a simple honest man
Monthly rent of $60 per month my ass. They won't rent you even a small storage place for that price where he lived.

He lived in northern part of Tehran. Minimum monthly rate there is $300. Average is probably closer to $500 per month.

The only consolation that the Russians can have for the time being is that the US hasn't been able to defeat Iran either. That's probably the only consolation they will have in 2026.

My man even $500 for a politician from an oil rich country is very modest.

For a country where minimum salary after recent adjustment is barely $150, it's not that modest. It's three times the minimum salary.

I dont want to go off topic, but Pakistani ministers would put this to shame, and Pakistan is a poor country.

I dont doubt there is/was corruption within the Iranian government, this happens where there is absolute authority and not strong enough accountability, this problem plagues most if not all countries of the world.

Trust me, he and his brothers live in the northern parts of Tehran, and in fact in some of the best neighborhoods of Tehran. The uptown of Tehran is where the affluent neighborhoods of Tehran are.

As a matter of fact, from a family friend who used to work with his brother, I know where one of his brothers resided before he recently moved abroad. His brother, Bagher Larijani, was an endocrinologist. He was also the Head of the Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

I'm not saying he was a bad person because he lived in a good neighborhood, but that's just cheap propaganda. Nearly every IR official lives in the northern parts of Tehran. That's why Israel started their 12-day war with hitting the northern parts of Tehran first.
