What's that idealogy ? I will appreciate if you can throw some light on that.
Without going into much depth, he's propping up like-minded Christian nationalists, and within the ranks, there has been pushback.

What does that have to do with what we are discussing? ??I support. Well done Iran.
You don't need SF to effect an evacuation, especially NOT the SAS. Deployment of this scale is NO small matter. Which is why the Ausi government is silent on this.

He wants a holy war - he sees this as a holy war. I have never seen a US Military commander or military representative go into a prayer and sermon during a press briefing.@RescueRanger
Not just one, but three in total. A shift in ideology is underway.
Hegseth told US Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George to retire immediately, a Pentagon official told CNN. He also fired two other Army generals Thursday, a US official said — the chief of chaplains, Maj. Gen. William Green Jr., and the commander of Army Transformation and Training Command, Gen. David Hodne.
It depends on the nature of the evacuation, espeically if airports are taken out, SF train for this contingency a lot, and it would be a mass evacuation as one can assume UK, Canadian, US and NZ passport holders would be included.
It would be a total U turn if Aus suddenly sided with US in any attack on Iran, especially know the US is looking like it had messed up bad.
Again, even apart from evacuation could be a host of reason SF are there, I just ont think the risk/reward plays out for anyone helping US at this stage
