Us pilots are legitimately insane hornets are doing strafing runs whilst getting shot at by manpads and c-130s over iran refueling CSAR. They are begging to be shot down. Might also be bait for other assets waiting to blast that remaining AD unit

My guess is such low flying in day light means US are desperate. They know they have lost an F-15E to ground fire so to risk choppers and C-130s means that something big is going on.

Jets are one thing. Can you imagine a csar helo or a c-130 going down with all crew? Inexcusable

Agreed, its understandable that a fighter Jet pilot is invaluable but the levels of risks that they are taking, is insane. Makes little sense to risk so many aircraft (which are of course also piloted) to rescue 1 - 2 pilots this desperately.

Flying really low like we're seeing most of the assets in Iran for this CSR op is to not get shot by AD, maybe if a manpads team got lucky and happened to be in the area.

Yes, I know. But C-130 is basically a flying coffin in a combat zone. I cannot believe it's still flying.

Whats embarrassing? IrgcAf just shot down Eagle, thats what they are searching right? Every inch cannot be protected, if they get locked they will be down. Its a 1.6m sq miles countrt.
