Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

US / Israel assassinating Iranian Supreme Leader mid negotiations only emboldened Iran’s resolve.
...which enabled Iran to fight a defensive war...which made iran fight its most effective way possible ,so why do some on PDF say iran needs to "fight an offensive war"?

Offensive war means iran not fighting its best, which creates big and bad problems for Iran, which increases the chance Iran loses the war.

Trump put iran in the best situation for 🇮🇷 to fight its best and 🇮🇷 took that opportunity fully!

Patrick Henningsen had been to Iran, interacted with the Iranian officials only 2-3 months ago. Starting this part of the video, he is suggesting something no one else does for a face saving ground invasion. And the invaded area seems not far from Pakistan's coast above Gwadar. But I think he meant 'Chinese-Pakistan' connectivity instead of 'Chinese-India' connectivity.

I think it is remarkable that no other analyst has mentioned the possible target of a ground invasion as Patrick does in this video. And the target is almost touching distance from Pakistan's border with Iran.

Right.
And if you go back to the days leading to this war in this thread, there were some who were advocating that Iran should do a pre-emptive strike on America and Israel. NO! That would only give some tactical gains but would place Iran in a far worse situation diplomatically and militarily!

While it is a terrible thing if the plant gets hit, there won't be any explosion. The radioactive core is in a 5-foot reinforced concrete containment wall that can take a hit from a loaded 747 (accidental crash) and survive. No nuclear reactor accidents have caused a major casualty event, though long-term effects of Chernobyl melt-down have been bad.
If chernobyl type nuclear fall out happens then bahrain, uae, qatar, oman and some coast areas of ksa will be severly affected and some parts of them will be nonhabitable for years.

There are chances that the second pilot's cadaver has been eaten by wild animals or birds explaining why both sides struggle to find it
american pilots are trained for SERE course , the americans probably know his location but due to iranian air defense fire that managed to take down A-10 that was participating in the rescue , the americans probably stopped the rescue so they won't lose more jets and the pilot probably hides now waiting for the moment.

So I’m confused here I don’t actually believe the Israelis assessments whatsoever but before this war started they said Iran was between 1500 to 2000 missiles (2000 was their so called redline) now they are saying only just over 1000 and Iran even if it fires at a steady rate won’t run out so what did this war actually achieve other than Iranians have to build a nuclear weapon and far more missiles and double up on their loyal allies
The estimate of 2000 was a joke, the same one like trump repeats everyother day that iranian capabilities are completely obilerated.

Chernobyl type accident is caused by meltdown of nuclear core. That can't be caused by impact to concrete shell. The reactor mechanism shuts down when things go wrong.

40-50% is likely too high. their stockpile was estimated at 3000-4000 before the war and they used 850 TLAMs as of 1-2 weeks ago.

so the depletion rate is likely 25-33%.

similar numbers for the JASSM. estimated 1000 / 3500 used (30% depletion)
So was US thinking its full stockpile of 4,000 cruise missiles was enough to fight China in the expected confrontation ?

the Ukraine war depleted US militarily, this war proves that.

Iranians should be proud of what their entire nation is doing to an arrogant superpower!

Yes - they have defended themselves well, but I fear some very hard, and dark days ahead for Iran. :( .. but I have faith they will pull through these days with honour.

So this Iran reactor is protected you say with pressurised steel and then with thick concrete. But, shells bombs and rockets will penetrate it?
