I am talking about the aircraft we are currently using. I don't think they sent in OH/AH-6A in last night's operation.......

On the other hand, IIRC OH-6A are 4-bladed.......I can be wrong about this tho, that was way before my time.

i think this did have 6 blades the angle b/w blades is too small for 5 baldes

IIRC, they are all upgraded to MH-6M by 2015, which means an engine and rotor change. Again, I don't think there are any MH-6A left by the time this happens. Certainly not flying with 160SOAR

Note: I am not disputing that the 160SOAR ditched those choppers in the sand, I am just saying this is suspect, unless they are pulling ages-old boneyard stock to do this, that rotor does not fit on an MH-6M or AH-6M, that's what I am saying

I don't know, maybe, but they wouldn't get the export version and use it when they have their own. And I don't think they are exporting the old AH-6A or J anyway. But I cannot be sure
