This proposal is a joke that doesn't appreciate Iranian predicament nor does it understand that US nor orange can be bound by any party least his own word.

Opening the straits will undo the damage and pain that is about to cause pain to the whole architecture on the backs of this naked aggression. Of course no mediation can understand the absolute recklessness here... because the mediator will assume the two parties as equals when they clearly are not.

That is how skewed and sordid this is and how an outcome can go totally south for Iran. As US demands(absolute capitulation) and therefore ones from the mediators will default for a pro US position. I'm afraid Iranians will have to stick to their guns to make US drop its demands...

Brother i will speak plainly. Pakistan doesnt give a **** about iran or iranian people. Nor does it particularly care about arabs. Some Pakistanis may care for either of them but they are personal opinions and not state policy. The official state policy of government of Pakistan is protecting the interests of Pakistan and part of that is ensuring affordable energy supply to Pakistan which can only be done via an open strait and stable prices. Pakistan is trying to do a ceasefire and trying to stop strikes to protect itself from energy shocks nothing else. This is something both iranians and Pakistanis fail to understand. As much i as a Pakistani support iran against Zionist aggression i will not be open to a blockade of straits as that harms my country Pakistan and its intrests.

How does this benefit Iran strategically? It doesn’t. I can’t see how this works for Iran if it is forced to reopen the Straits of Hormuz as part of this.

What is the end-game for Iran?

While it pleases me to see Iran tell the US/Israel to go forth and multiply and face whatever consequences come its way bravely, I also worry about the damage Iran will take in the process.

So either both sides can keep going out of fear that other will do this or that ... and kill each other, destroy infra, decimate populations or both can calm down. There is no other way and further fighting will achieve nothing either.

Also, Iran does not have unlimited supplies of missiles. Lets not assume more fighting will be in benefit of Iran too.

I told you the Islamic Republic was a disgrace to Iran and this system is corrupt to the core. Iran threw softball after softball when Week 5 started. They were already discussing their terms of surrender, it seems.

The sooner Iran gets out of this miserable solution, the better. I hope the US would install a secular system in Iran at least.
