Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

If Iran accepts this ceasefire with reopening the Straits, then Iran should give up and surrender to Trump now. Give up. There is nothing value in any further resistance as Iran cannot achieve anything new in two weeks that it can’t now..

There is nothing 2 weeks brings to Iran as it cannot build anything to replenish is stocks while the USA can move weapons into the Middle East.

How does this benefit Iran strategically? It doesn’t. I can’t see how this works for Iran if it is forced to reopen the Straits of Hormuz as part of this.
Iran can always reject the proposal you know, its totally up to them and Americans.

What is not "neutral" about it? There is an ask for both sides. That is called mediation.
It’s being insinuated (started by an indian on X) that the it has been handed over to him by the Americans to copy paste in his tweet.

Are you the representative of Iran? What right do you have to claim that ultimately Iran wants to come to the negotiating table?

And yes, a ceasefire in Iran's case means a surrender. It will also reset Trump's 60-day privilege to declare war without congressional approval.
You need to calm down my friend.

Who are you questioning everyone on a darn public forum? The President of Iran? :)

For all we know, you could be an Israeli playing spoiler here. :giggle:

Agreed, so what is the plan? Fight till Israel is destroyed (not feasible as Iran has no ability unless it goes nuclear)? Or the US is destroyed? Or the GCC is destroyed?

What is the end-game for Iran?

While it pleases me to see Iran tell the US/Israel to go forth and multiply and face whatever consequences come its way bravely, I also worry about the damage Iran will take in the process.
We fight till the end. No fake «ceasefire» or «humanitarian pause.» The war ends with a new status quo.

Can they announce the cease-fire or reject it soon? I have to go to walmart for grocery shopping.

i think you are way high on emotions and need to chill, maybe take a break, go out walk in open, have a nice cold glass of water

your way of expressing is what we Pakistani refer as being phoophoo in a shaadi :)

They are attacking right now. It isn't as if the two sides are not firing on each other daily, in large volume. So what ruse are you talking about when a live war is already going on?

This situation is nothing like Oman's peace-efforts. Those were happening before hostilities started. Now we have full-fledged war going on with a chance of getting a lot bloodier and damaging.

Details and facts matter.

I guess you are correct. There dog off East had never been worst them this one on history. The American Zionist side is the most evil devious with no honor.

The feeling goes both ways, this is a comment from an issraeli at one of their papers:

So either both sides can keep going out of fear that other will do this or that ... and kill each other, destroy infra, decimate populations or both can calm down. There is no other way and further fighting will achieve nothing either.

Also, Iran does not have unlimited supplies of missiles. Lets not assume more fighting will be in benefit of Iran too.

Anyway, lets leave it to their leaders, they'll know what to do.

Iran wants to be the First and last nation to get bombed in negotiations 3 times in one year

@Persian Gulf

@ShapurII

@Shags101
I told you the Islamic Republic was a disgrace to Iran and this system is corrupt to the core. Iran threw softball after softball when Week 5 started. They were already discussing their terms of surrender, it seems.

The sooner Iran gets out of this miserable solution, the better. I hope the US would install a secular system in Iran at least.

When you want bragging rights at the cost of ruins of your country. But of course, we are to blame.

Pakistan abstained because her vote didn't matter at all.
The US already had 11 votes, and it was up to China or Russia to veto it or the resolution would've been passed.

The UN Security Council consists of 15 members: 5 permanent members with the veto right and 10 temporary/rotating members. For a resolution to be passed, 9 out of 15 members should vote yes with no vetoes from the permanent members.
So are you saying if Pakistan would have had the deciding vote, they would have voted in favor of the resolution? I don’t think so, but we can only speculate.

I can understand why you feel that way as an Iranian. If I was Iranian, I would probably feel that way about Pakistan’s role as well. You guys feel you have an upper hand in the conflict. I am not sure about that. As a neutral observer, yes I can see that Iran has caused significant pain to Israel and the US. However, I am not convinced Iran can deliver a knockout blow to Israel and the US.

Pakistan is not forcing Iran to accept the win-win/lose-lose terms it is offering. It requires every side to make concessions and give up something.

If Iran does not accept the terms, or does not visit Islamabad, Pakistan does not feel slighted or take Iran’s response as offensive.

Pakistan understands why Iran might respond that way. Iran sees this as a historic opportunity to exact a lot of pain on Israel, the US and GCC allies. There are currently no pipelines that bypass the Strait of Hormuz. There is also a significant depletion of missile defense systems of Israel and the US. So I can see why Iran wants to keep this war going.

But there is a significant amount of offensive power the US and Israel still possess. Pakistan, by offering an “option”, just wants to ensure that Iran doesn’t reach anywhere near a strategic defeat at any point; and if Iran needs an off-ramp to “preserve itself”, it has that option. But Pakistan respects any decisions Iran makes.

Pakistan is concerned because although Iran has shown a lot of resilience and caused the US/Israel a lot of pain, it has not controlled the escalation ladder in this war; and has not caused “as much” damage in Israel as the US and Israel have done inside Iran.
