IRGC’s target selection has been terrible when it comes to Israel. And its shocking to me.

Should've bombed those four desalination plants in Israel. That would've sent all the Israelis holding dual passports away and collapsed their economy. Should've bombed downtown Tel Aviv and all its tech companies there. Screwing their economy would've been a great long term deterrent. On the other hand, Israel have set Iran back by a decade. Those universities, oil and gas infra, schools, medical centers all add up.

My condolences. The people of Iran, despite all our differences, deserved better. The death of a civilization is an event that few individuals witnessed throughout the history of humankind.

I really don't understand what has happened and how the Iranians ended up here but at this point only divine intervention can save the country.

For those who think that this ceasefire is beneficial, I cant help you guys, and it highlights one truth: the majority of you lack a comprehensive understanding of this conflict.

Also, this agreements seals the fate of Lebanon and by extension Hezbollah.

Trump appears to be trying to save face with this ceasefire deal.

The agreement seems to favor the USA and Israel. If Iran agrees to open the sea route, it could be a disadvantage for them.

After two weeks without any solid agreement, accepting conditions set by the USA—especially after significant destruction in Iran—puts Iran in a losing position.
This deal seems more about protecting Trump from embarrassment than achieving a fair resolution.

Meanwhile, Israel appears to believe it is already in a winning position in Palestine, with support from several countries, including some Muslim nations. For the USA, this deal may be the best option to step back from earlier actions, particularly attacking Iran without a formal agreement in place.

Iran is honorably trying to safeguard the territorial integrity of Lebanon. This is just a 2 week ceasefire and the Iranians seem to be agreeing to that, instead of the previous 6 week proposal, which would allow the Americans/Israelis to significantly buttress up their assault forces.
The 2 weeks are to give the 'diplomacy' a truly last chance. But Iran will retain the same firepower and the ability to block the Strait after two weeks as it does now; that must be understood.
