Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

China is likely to have no direct role in this drama.

Both sides use China as excuse and weight.

Day 2 of 14 day ceasefire:

- Largely holding between US and Iran
- Mostly holding between Israel and Iran (though Israel continues to fly drones over Iranian airspace which Iran is downing)
- UAE and Iran’s tit for tat seems to be over
- the Strait of Hormuz remains functionally closed (see below)
- Israel continues to commit genocide in Lebanon and the U.S. decided that Lebanon is not part of the agreement, threatening the ceasefire as Iran insists it must include Lebanon. Iran’s response is calibrated to minimise the risk of provoking the U.S., and limited to keeping the Strait closed
- with the latest U.S. statements insisting on no enrichment in Iran, the ceasefire seems to have a low chance of success. But IRI are committed to it despite some anger from the public, and talks continue in Pakistan
Both Iran and the United States have too many Mossad spies and Jewish parasites parasitizing their bodies. Israel and Jews will not allow them to stop this war.

Bro

Iran is our neighbor - our national anthem is in Persian - historical connections. We have to stick our neck out. If we didnt - we would be next - the behavior of some of these Arbee states - incredible. I know there is remittance and obviously we have the Saudi links but ffs their behavior and language - next level especially the UAE.........

secondly the Saudi defence pack (in our view) was defensive in nature and not when they chose to be partners in a war of aggression on one of another country and when that county retaliates then they ask for help. just like NATO alliance is defensive in nature. but or them it was like come on dog, off you go on Iran because we throw some bones at us.

as for valid criticism of Iran is concerned re entering economic trade agreements including port is concerned I would request my valued fellow members to be fair and use the same principle for Saudis, Emeriti's and Qataris as well who doubled down on their investments in billions even after Indians attacked us twice and abolished the Kashmir special status.

its a shame that we cant buy cheap oil and gas from Iran because of gulf states, not just the yanks. our lack of deeper stronger (beyond lip service ties) with Iran is a tragedy and a shared failure of both countries. Thank goodness that we didnt open another war front with a neighbor to appease the Saudis.

GCC behavior, their lack of action during GAZA massacre, their decades long siege of Yemen and now in Sudan is another matter of concern and deserves a scrutiny beyond religious and sectarian basis.

goes to show that food and economic security is as important as military and Nuclear deterrence otherwise we will continue to be humbled in front of these GCC countries.

How Trump Took the U.S. to War With Iran

The New York Times has just published the most damning account of Trump since the war began. And it's a bombshell.

Jonathan Swan and Maggie Haberman, two White House journalists, reveal how Trump made the decision to go to war against Iran. What they describe is exactly what I analyze in The Puppet of the White House.

Here are the facts.

Netanyahu sold a dream. On February 11, in the Situation Room, the Israeli Prime Minister presented a four-act scenario: kill the Supreme Leader, destroy the Iranian army, spark a popular revolution, install a new regime. He even showed a montage video featuring the "future leaders" of Iran. Trump responded: "Sounds good to me." In one sentence, he had just sealed the fate of the region.

The next day, the CIA said it was hot air. Parts 3 and 4 of Netanyahu's pitch—the popular revolution and regime change—were labeled a "farce" by Ratcliffe himself. Rubio translated: "In other words, it's bullshit." General Caine added: "It's the standard Israeli procedure. They oversell, and their plans aren't always well developed."

Trump heard. And he still said yes.

Vance saw it all. The vice president was the only one in the room to outright oppose it, warning that the war could "destroy Trump's political coalition," that the Strait of Hormuz was the real vulnerability, that no one could predict Iranian retaliation when a regime's survival was at stake. He said: "You know I think this is a bad idea. But if you want to do it, I'll back you."

This isn't political courage. It's deference.

Susie Wiles watched. The chief of staff, who had concerns, felt it "wasn't her role" to voice them on a military decision in front of the others. She "encouraged the advisors to share their views." She stayed silent.

General Caine never said no. He laid out the risks: depleted munitions stocks, Strait of Hormuz, no clear path to victory. Then he said: "If you order the operation, the military will execute."

Trump, meanwhile, "only heard what he wanted to hear."

And Trump signed off aboard Air Force One, 22 minutes before the deadline set by his own general: "Operation Epic Fury is approved. No aborts. Good luck."

That's how you go to war in the 21st century. Not with solemn deliberation. Not with a congressional vote. Not with an exit strategy. With a Netanyahu slideshow, a "sounds good to me," and a note sent from an airplane.

In The Puppet of the White House, I write that the real decision-makers are those who prepare the presentations Trump watches. Netanyahu understood that better than anyone. He staged an hour of visual spectacle in the Situation Room with Mossad as the backdrop, videos of "future leaders," a promise of quick and clean victory.

And Trump said yes. While Vance, Rubio, Wiles, and Caine watched.

Check out these a$$ lickers, they got folded in two days and act big.

He is known to be a very pro-Zionist mouthpiece, and supported by the UAE (confirmed by distant relatives), he has a relative here in the U.S., and once said he's the black stain in the family genealogical tree.

You can say his views reflect the UAE's position.

My position has been very clear from the start: never trust the GCC; they would poison your drink at the table while happily pouring it for you.

Interesting they couldn’t do this to the US or Israel after Israel committed genocide in Lebanon today.

Man, you are getting boring, Pak did an incredible job to bring both sides into the same room, now we are expected to solve everything. Again, typing from the US, why not go to Iran and pick up a gun?

Anyway, think the words you are looking for are "THANK YOU PAKISTAN"

Iran's realistic demands should be a comprehensive ceasefire and the lifting of sanctions. The United States cannot pay compensation.
There will be no lifting of the US sanctions unless this war is over.

Iran and the US have to fight for months until one side gives up. The ceasefire was a gross mistake.

I saw the statement when it was released. No the PM didnt lie. Now just because that SOB Netanyahu wont abide and USA are finding it hard to control its mad dag - dont go on one and attempt the 1 team thats
Reaching out endlessly to end this.

Sometimes feels he hates Pakistan more then Israel....
