Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Day 2 of 14 day ceasefire:

- Largely holding between US and Iran
- Mostly holding between Israel and Iran (though Israel continues to fly drones over Iranian airspace which Iran is downing)
- UAE and Iran’s tit for tat seems to be over
- the Strait of Hormuz remains functionally closed (see below)
- Israel continues to commit genocide in Lebanon and the U.S. decided that Lebanon is not part of the agreement, threatening the ceasefire as Iran insists it must include Lebanon. Iran’s response is calibrated to minimise the risk of provoking the U.S., and limited to keeping the Strait closed
- with the latest U.S. statements insisting on no enrichment in Iran, the ceasefire seems to have a low chance of success. But IRI are committed to it despite some anger from the public, and talks continue in Pakistan
Basically the original plan of greater Israel and complete decimation of Hezbollah will continue. The whole iran war was never the main act. The idea was to cripple the iranian Regime and cut off it's active support to Hezbollah and others..
By the look of it, they have almost succeeded so far.

It is reasonable to assume that the White House was directly involved in drafting/approving SS' X-Post, and so were the Iranians. Such important statements cannot be made without the consent of the parties involved. I won't be surprised if the draft was shared with the Gulf States also.

Think this may be the biggest ever security operation in Pak history.

So many potential spoilers here.

Agreed, literally every word and sentence structure would need to be perfect.

Iran lost badly.

Iran lost. Germany lost when Hitler died. What is happening with the Strait of Hormuz is, for now, akin to disparate German forces that continued fighting after Hitler died. How long can Iran strains to control the strait? The ceasefire is scheduled to last two weeks and the new Supreme Leader is allegedly too scared to be in public.

Iran can be a nuclear state, just not a nuclear weapons state, like how JPN and SKR are.

Delusion is an understatement to describe your posts.

The difference between Iran and Germany is that Iran had a contingency plan on who to lead even with their head chopped off. Additionally, US has no guts to invade Iran islands let alone take away their enriched Uranium. Can't even name a single objective they have achieved other than Khamenei and endless bombings. Clearly airforce is not doing its job here despite how much you delude yourself into thinking that way.

Then again If you insist that Iran loss, then Iran lost proudly.

Man, you are getting boring, Pak did an incredible job to bring both sides into the same room, now we are expected to solve everything. Again, typing from the US, why not go to Iran and pick up a gun?

Anyway, think the words you are looking for are "THANK YOU PAKISTAN"

Pakistan has done an extremely admirable job getting Saudi Arabia to calm down, and not trigger the defence pact with Pakistan against Iran.

Sometimes I don’t understand the decision makers in Iran.

Iran under the JCPOA agreed to bring down uranium enrichment to 3.67%, when Trump tore up the JCPOA; they enriched to 60%. Iran has had decades to enrich to weapons grade 90%, but they enriched to 60%. Why? Either enrich to weapons grade 90%, or keep at the 3.67% for civilian purposes.

Per China’s initiative, Saudi Arabia and Iran were normalizing relations. Yes, the KSA hosted US airbases, but it is debatable how much they used these bases to attack Iran. They should have tried to talk to Saudi Arabia, and urged them to distance themselves from the Americans. The KSA, as bad as they are; are not as bad as the UAE, in the sense that they will not accept Israel as a nation without the recognition of a Palestinian state. Iran has pissed off too many parties to the conflict, and that is never a good thing. You need allies in every situation, not just this war specifically. Yes, some so-called allies are not worth it, but Iran would have really benefited with close military and intelligence ties with China.

Iranian arrogance is extremely foolish and shortsighted unfortunately.

It seems everything that happened yesterday was well choreographed by all sides.

Iran had always said Hormuz cannot be opened and fighting on all regional fronts has to stop. US and Israel could not simply accept that without losing face, so what happened:

First, ceasefire was announced. Then small attacks against Iran and major attacks against Lebanon happened. Then the Europeans and Pakistan said Lebanon cannot be attacked and Iran re-closed Hormuz, and the US is now still willing to talk even though Hormuz is closed.

The coming days will show wether my theory is correct.

Before Straits open
Now Straits closed.

US Lost. Period. We won't talk about the enrichment plans or compare JCPOA with this unbelivable starting point.

Which such voters US is becoming more Saudí Arabia.

We should nuke Bradford just so we can be spared from these British Pakistani
