Islamabad Talks - News & Discussions

U.S. and Iran negotiators will meet in Islamabad this weekend to discuss turning a shaky ceasefire into lasting peace. The sides are far apart on Iran’s nuclear program, the Strait of Hormuz and the Israeli campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

The US Centcom Commander is an interesting late addition. I believe Field Martial Asim Munir is also going to be nearby to work out the specifics of any agreement with the Centcom guy. They work together. Pakistan always had some friends in the US Centcom and in the Pentagon over the nearly eight decades of cooperation.

Expect some threats during talks.

It is an intensely religious war on top of any typical war for resources.

Get F16 upgradation(with AIM120 C8s) and release of Zulus. We are doing the Americans too much favour.

Is it me, or the Pehlvi faction seems a bit too active and a bit too anti-Pakistan on X today?
They might unironically be the most irrelevant group of people ever, hated in Iran, Pathetically irrelevant in the US, they don't even represent a large voting block like the Cuban Americans do in Florida where politicians actually have to listen to what they say.

What many are not getting in west is that .... Pakistan and it's allies are not redrawing the Map but stoping the attempt of redrawing the Map.

It may be a subtle message but it is there.
