The answer is simple: If Pakistan wants to close its borders to Iran and host U.S. carrier group. Then Iran will close Hormuz to energy vessels going to Pakistan. Up until know, Pakistan has had free access to the Iranian lane and no problems acquiring energy.

That’s all BS excuses. I covered over a month ago Iranian freight drivers complaining that Pakistan had begun throttling traffic thru the border checkpoints and had raised entry tariffs with officials asking up to $10,000 USD to let trucks thru when such fees didn’t exist before or were minor. wether this is regional corruption or approved at the highest levels of government it was unclear.

Either way this was a series of steps and not a one off event. We have been gradually building towards this full border closure event and it has nothing to do with the resistive province.

Why has the CSG suddenly entered these waters when they haven’t been here before? Why operate so far away from Oman and Arabian Sea? Because they want to drag Pakistan into this mess when Iranian anti ship anti ship ballistic missiles fall in areas dominated by Pakistani merchant vessels!
