Islamabad Talks - News & Discussions

Please bro.

Lets not start the political mudslinging.

The PTI have agreed to postpone their protest. We can do all the nitpicking but they are not treasonous, anti Pakistanis, traitors etc etc.

Worse things have been done by current setup when they were sitting in opposition and all was forgiven for ‘national interest’. I will leave it at that.
yea bro I agree with you fully, I hope my PTI followers stop liking and sharing the crap posted by likes of Imran Riaz , Moed Tumbzada and Adil Baja. because they bring bad name to Pakistan and give Indians a chance to laugh.

The amount of crap being thrown out by certain overseas supporters of this party was downright filthy. Like this is a major moment - regardless of how this plays out and they were busy passing shitty comments even before it began that would make even the BhaktJob trolls blush.
And I only wanted to enjoy the frustration of Modi media but some oppertunits like Moed Thumbzada and Adil Baja couldnt help themselves.

btw - if there are new talks in the future, don't be surprised if they happen in Islamabad again, there are very few places Iran can go to hold these talks and still have trust in the location. Security is a problem for anything west of the Straits of Hormuz and there are only so many places of trust east of Iran other than China, or Pakistan for Iran.

Thirty-one (31) hours of continuous diplomacy, spanning multiple sessions, covered substantial ground and yielded several positive outcomes.

However, this remains a complex, deeply rooted conflict, marked by significant divergences and the presence of external spoilers and detractors.

What has been achieved-or not-was ultimately shaped by the two sides themselves, both constrained by domestic pressures and long-standing positions.

Pakistan, nonetheless, made an unprecedented effort in the interest of regional and global peace.

The statement by US Vice President J.D. Vance offers a glimmer of hope, particularly his reference to proposals put forward during the mediation process.

Both sides now have a clearer understanding of each other’s positions, and progress can only move forward from that point.

It is not for Pakistan to disclose the substantive details of the negotiations, given the confidentiality involved and its role as a mediator.

Pakistan played a truly remarkable innings.

Sorry but those protests were called on after we were getting clarity of talks happening in Islamabad, the first place...

They realized quickly they won't be able to pull it off and will get a lot of flack for it... Then they tried everything including their group of journalists to make it look like that Pakistan was lying about the delegations coming...

I mean this is such a pathetic behavior... IK's legacy is built upon the fact of bringing pride to this nation in the form of 92 world cup and to abandon the core value that brought you here loses the argument...It brings me immense regret and heart break that I voted for them twice..

Lastly to the majority Pakistani reporters that covered this event and tried to create sensationalism for clout and social media pay outs. This is for you.

I have been trying to stop writing on this website, but what keeps me here are people like you those who label 90% of Pakistanis as traitors. In reality, the true traitors and foreign agents are those who stole the election from the people. Those who cover up these acts of treason are just as guilty.

While Pakistan may have achieved milestones in diplomacy, the people remain unhappy because they view you as the ones who stole their mandate.

Consider this a warning times will change, and you will all face the consequences. Because you shielded treason, you will eventually face brutal justice.

Because in my eyes you can forgive mistakes but you cannot forgive treason

Continuation of this war is neither in India's nor UAE's interest.
They are both loosing boat loads of money because of this war.

However this war especially harms Pakistans interest because of its fragile economy and Saudi defence pact.

For Pakistani generals would have never imagined that with in few months of signing a pact they believed was 'merely a lip service to relive gullible Arabs of their oil money', they might have to fight a war against another one of its neighbors.

There is a lot of pain and butthurt here.
