The US and "Israelis" are restocking their weapons supplies in the region and will start attacking Iran once they get all of the pieces in place. The negotiations are designed to disguise that whole prep work. Satanyahu is the man in charge in this whole operation.

6 gen fighters and nuke subs development in scale takes time. Current PLAN is no match for USN in the Persian Gulf or Indian Ocean.

PLAN's current scale is already gigantic a near peer competitor to the USN.

The additional future production is a final stride for the PLAN to completely surpass the USN.

The PLAN is current backed by the DF-26/27 and many other hypersonic missiles where the USN is lacking.

The Persian Gulf is practically a doorstep for the DF-26/27 with the 6th gen fighters (3000-4000 combat radius) to join in 1-2 years.

And look at the current USN, many of their ships are not in good condition, and they were luck to fight Iran first.

I think both needs a longer ceasefire to reach an agreement, neither side will surrender. I think for America they will use ceasefire to rearm, relocate some assets etc, while Iran needs to open access to their missile bases, spread their launchers and etc.
