Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

War looks increasingly to be over, some type of agreement likely by end of the month. Everything else is just elaborate brinksmanship.

As I said when this conflict began, the IRGC will insist on fighting till the 40th day death anniversary of Khamenai before agreeing to any ceasefire and that’s exactly what happened.

Hopefully this deal Iran agrees to does not destroy Iran like JCPOA did.

I don’t think so unless Iran sells out Hezbollah Houthis and Iraqis altogether I don’t think this is over not by a long shot

Give the Americans huge huge credit. They pulled off a miracle out of their asses.

US was running out of stand off munitions and time. They could not disengage without admitting defeat. Everything was in Irans court.

Now they can just disengage without admitting defeat zero humiliation and cut off Irans oil to boot and wait.

Time is no longer on Irans side.

Iran managed to grab defeat right out of the jaws of victory….

When fighting Iraq, Irans governent wanted endless war. 29 year olds were dying and they were personally profiting.

Now that war means a few senior leaders have to actually put their neck on the line, and they all turn mother theresa.

Sacrificing hard earned military gains for their own neck.

If Iran is not willing to accept the pain and finish this war properly once and for all, it might as well surrender today.
Very well said.

There are good reasons to worry about Qalibaf, no doubt. Trump indicated his preference to deal with Qalibaf à la Delcy, which on its own can be a disqualifier. It also doesn't help that he is flanked by Zarif's right hand Araghchi, Rouhani's buddy Hemmati, etc. He also visited WEF in Davos in 2008. Zarif was very keen on WEF too. There is also the issue of Qalibaf's corruption allegations as mayor of Tehran.

Maybe IRGC will veto a bad deal even after these people sign it. But I wouldn't hold my breath.
Who is this IRGC that we keep talking about? We always assume that the IRGC is an organization with a voice in the system, but is it?
Ghalibaf is a Brigadier General of the IRGC himself. He served as the Commander of IRGC Air Force for a while.

A successful deal is just another excuse for Israeli attacking harder and sooner, like it was already proven two times.

What if it’s a trap by Iran? I mean, what are they going to do after their blockade fails? ☕

As I said earlier, zero chance there were US warships in Persian Gulf.

However, US carrier only 200KM away from Iran’s southern coastline. Much closer than during the war.

The U.S. economy grew at a slightly slower pace than expected in the fourth quarter, according to the Commerce Department's estimate.

The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) on Thursday released its final reading of fourth-quarter GDP, which showed the economy grew at an annualized rate of 0.5% in the three-month period including October, November and December.

That figure was lower than the expectations of economists polled by LSEG, who had estimated 0.7% GDP growth in the fourth quarter. The figure was initially estimated at 1.4% before it was lowered to 0.7% in the BEA's first revisio

May be they are there to drop off the Loser Prince so he can swim across to the shore and claim the throne? Before the Iranian people skin him and feed him to the fish.

The US and "Israelis" are restocking their weapons supplies in the region and will start attacking Iran once they get all of the pieces in place. The negotiations are designed to disguise that whole prep work. Satanyahu is the man in charge in this whole operation.

No.

Firstly, the Chinese Navy does not have the capability to confront the US Navy in the Persian Gulf.

Secondly, China's oil security policy is excellent, and simply interrupting oil in the Persian Gulf is unlikely to affect China's economy.

China is likely to assist Iran through military aid.

Trump has threatened China that if China provides military aid to Iran, he will increase tariffs by 50% on China.

Today, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded that restarting the tariff war is not a good choice for the United States.

In the context of Chinese language, this answer is equivalent to acknowledging that Iran will receive military assistance and accepting the resumption of the tariff war.

Don't forget about the DF-26/27, and the 6th gen fighter in the near future.

The surface vessels of the USN are extremely vulnerable against these toys in the whole Indo-Pacific region.

And the PLAN is also expanding exponentially including its nuclear submarine fleet and its nuclear arsenal.

China is preparing for the worst scenario.
