Could be the Shaheen 1 type we dk yetWhat missile will Farah 5 be based on?
There was not single video released by ISPR of F2 launch the tally guy said hisar airport there is no way ur Targeting Delhi with 400km range missiles unless your literally on the border. It’s a quasi-BM. Point being, it’s not supposed to have simple parabolic trajectory. Also, all TBMs (in this range class) remain within atmosphere. Anyways this is how ISPR describes it:

IMO , PN is testing SMASH quite a lot and it is not far from being operationalized tho putting all this money in the AshBM program is a lil worrying(IN is working on Ship based BMD but will take a decade or two )I wonder how far away is SMASH from being operationalized, PN firing it from the Babur would sort of indicate it's somewhat close.
I don't why the PA is such a care free arm, PAF has hit it's targets, PN is taking it seriously whilst PA, it just keeps do it once forget about it till next warIMO , PN is testing SMASH quite a lot and it is not far from being operationalized tho putting all this money in the AshBM program is a lil worrying(IN is working on Ship based BMD but will take a decade or two )
Another thing is that PA did single publicized tests of Fatah 1, 2 , 3 and 4 while PN is actually maturing the tech cuz it needs to hit a moving target the first time accurately and i like this rigorous testing and this also shows PN has them in good numbers so it can test them... I hope they tested the missile against a strong EW enviroment...
The information about Fatah-III is still murky and there is literally no footage or evidence available to validate its existence. Although there have been reports that the so called Abdali Weapons System (450 Km Range) is actually the Fatah-III, but that's just rumors.IMO , PN is testing SMASH quite a lot and it is not far from being operationalized tho putting all this money in the AshBM program is a lil worrying(IN is working on Ship based BMD but will take a decade or two )

The Fatah 3 test was named the Abdali Weapon system , i think we might see it in the parade on 14 aug , the officers in the test vid had all caps with Abdali written on it , and its TEL looked unique like similar to the frontal arm of the himars truck...The information about Fatah-III is still murky and there is literally no footage or evidence available to validate its existence. I think the commonality with the F2 BM is really great here, production can really be scaled up here since they use the same rocket motor and other components, PN needs something like 150 missiles to equip all the ships + reloads for them that number could be much higher if PN also wants land based batteries.IMO , PN is testing SMASH quite a lot and it is not far from being operationalized tho putting all this money in the AshBM program is a lil worrying(IN is working on Ship based BMD but will take a decade or two )

It's too bulky cannot be massed fire, 600-800 dia with 10 metres length staged missile something around those linesCould be the Shaheen 1 type we dk yet
Yes , it would really help in keeping stocks in good number..PN should deffo go for the land batteries but some things would be tricky..I think the commonality with the F2 BM is really useful, production can really be scaled up here since they use the same rocket motor and other components, PN needs something like 150 missile to equip all the ships + reloads for them that number could be much higher if PN also wants land based batteries.
Shaheen 1 is the same size to the Iranian Baktar shikans... the key thing is mass production. Dias dont matter as long as the missile get its job done at efficient rates of damage imposed on the enemy. It's too bulky cannot be massed fire, 600-800 dia with 10 metres length staged missile something around those lines
PN already operates land based Zarb and Harba Ashm batteries so adding SMASH to those wouldn't be anything new.Yes , it would really help in keeping stocks in good number..PN should deffo go for the land batteries but some things would be tricky..
@Oscar Hypothetically , if the PN goes for the land based batteries then how will its arm differ from the ARFC the PA built? Side winder said there were talks of PAF getting its own vectors then wouldn't it cause confusion??? like lack of synergy?? My 6 can be you 9 scenario? We probably dont have that kind of co ordination to share details and thing quickly with the other force so how this will work out? A poor tactical decision by one command can slow down , disorient or even damage the others action or the plan that was going be implemented...i have so many questions regarding thisss
I meant using the Smash to be used against IN targets in gujrat and others apart from the anti ship rolePN already operates land based Zarb and Harba Ashm batteries so adding SMASH to those wouldn't be anything new.
