Complete joke. Only 2 billion USD lol.... This is the same Qatar that promised to invest trillion dollars in the US.

If Qatar closes US military bases and forms a wider security agreement with Pak that is good for the whole region. US can withdraw MAGA croud be happy too.

Khawaja Saad Rafique has also exposed the UAE's hypocrisy in front of everyone.
Saudi Arabia has 1.8 million Pakistanis who send billions of dollars every year, and now for the first time, they're being respected there. Similarly, there are Pakistanis in Qatar. What the UAE has done is not good. If I speak about it here, someone will get upset. I know a lot about this matter.

It's a disservice to withhold information that would be critical for any Pakistani deciding to go there.

Qatar has to pay for the ongoing cost of deployment, equipment and backfills of new equipment. Not, a "one off" payment for budget support.. etc.

Writing was on the wall when they escorted Pak PM's planes with Rafales.

This is a positive development for Qatar, for Pakistan and for the muslim world.

Major issue now is Pak Mil resources. Reports say we sent 18 planes and 13,000 troops to Saudi.. If we commit the same to Qatar that is 36 planes (assuming JF-17Cs and/or J-10s) and 26,000 troops, basically 2 Divisions.

This is a serious foreign deployment, outside of US I do not know of any other country that has this much men and aircraft stationed abroad....

Weapon deliveries to Haftar since March.

This basically confirms that Saudis were behind both of those arms deals.
I forgot but which faction in Libya still controls the country's oil and gas ? If it was Haftar then he would not need Saudi cash ?

Saudi Arabia expresses support for Pakistan's mediation efforts to reach 'political solution'

Espressing concern over the current military escalation, Saudi Arabia says it supports Pakistan’s “mediation and diplomatic efforts to reach a political solution that prevents the region from sliding into further tension and instability, which would not serve the interests of the region and the world”.

The kingdom also stressed the “importance of restoring freedom of international maritime navigation” in the Strait of Hormuz to its pre-war state, and called for ensuring the safe passage of vessels without restriction.

My guess is Egyptians are out, especially after they sent Rafales to UAE....

Looks like negotiations are almost concluded. It will be Saudi/Turkiye/Qatar/Pak Versus Israel/UAE/India

I hope it does happen.

There needs to be political alignment which has been tricky when it comes to what Qatar gets up to. Saudi and Turks had a rough patch but are on good terms now. I think Qatar is realising its alone if it comes to a major crisis so is reorienting to regional defence.

Quicker ME countries remove the US from their security apparatus the better for the region long term.

A joint Saudi/Qatari/Pak buy of KAAN would supercharge the project and allow great interoperatlbility amongst all 4 nations
