Islamabad Talks - News & Discussions

Lots of things don't make sense to Mr. M.

Remember the geopolitical function Israel plays in the West: to redirect the millennia-long Islam/Christianity conflict to the Jews instead, as described in the 1943 book The Forgotten Ally. So if Israel disappears, the great conflict is exposed once more, yes? Unless "Islamic" countries seek peace instead, of course.
Only in your convoluted mindset

What Field Marshall and his team have achieved or will achieve is nothing short of once in a century historic moment ! The Brilliance and ingenuity behind this is monumental and so is this occassion. Who would have thought that a day will come when Pakistan will single-handedly change history.
Easy does it good man. Putting the cart in front of the horse

Yes but US is not an Ordinary horse - it is Pegasus. It is not easy to put a cart in front of this horse otherwise a lot of other countries would have done it by now.

I am not going to post the video here but one of the best Indian analysts Ramish Kumar's latest video talks about how the entire world yawns now whenever Trump speaks. What a fall of the stature of an American Presidency!
Yesterday, Trump said something like 'An agreement will be signed today' (and the negotiating teams of Iran and America had not even left their respective countries for Islamabad). He also said something like 'Vance will be there in hours' (I guess, he meant 'hours' meant 36-48 hours).
Can't believe 77 million people voted this person to power!!

Bizarre speculation and nothing more.
The Forgotten Ally book? It wasn't "speculation" but the author figuring it out from witnessing Britain's conduct in the middle east. (Britain also banned the book.)
If zionist Israel vanished as a political entity tomorrow and Jerusalem was "internationalised" as a holy city for religious tourism of multiple faiths, not one Christian or Muslim would have a problem. Not even one.

This "great conflict" wouldn't exist if Jerusalem was under shared jurisdiction. If anything, Christians and Muslims would squabble only within and amongst themselves over which sect holds which key to which bell tower or minaret. It would make great PPV entertainment.
That's full of contradictions right there, isn't it?
And you clearly don't see any presence of Jews in Jerusalem under such "internationalization".

I can see why you have such low 'Reputation' index in this forum and also get thread-banned all the time. You distract, deflect, and demure. It would help you to stay on the topic and post your own thoughts instead of referencing historical events all the time.

It would help not to be shadow-banned from lots of threads.

The situation as it stands at 1930 PST

1. Formal response from Iranian side about confirmation of delegation to attend Islamabad Peace Talks is still awaited.

2. Pakistan as the mediator is in constant touch with Iranians and pursuing the path of diplomacy and dialogue.

3. Ceasefire ends at 4:50 am PST, 22 April. Decision from Iran to attend the talks before the end of two weeks ceasefire is critical.

4. Pakistan has made sincere efforts to convince the Iranian leadership to participate in the second round of talks and these efforts continue.
