Defence ministers Boris Pistorius and Sébastien Lecornu shared major breakthroughs on bilateral defence collaboration on Friday (22 March), announcing that both countries will officially start developing a new tank as well as produce military equipment in Ukraine.

I recently came across an interesting article about Europe and NATO planning to change the way weapons are procured with the entire Europe having one type of tank instead of each country having its own, as it is currently.

This would significantly reduce production costs while increasing the quality of the tank. Germans excel in tank manufacturing. NATO is also working on having all tanks under one common command.

Russian regime is in a tight spot because it looks like the entire Western bloc is gearing up to join forces and streamline weapon development and production under a single organization.

NATO members have significantly increased their military budgets. Next year, all countries are expected to reach 2% of their GDP on military expenditures totaling $470 billion.

Poland is now advocating for a 3% GDP military budget which would amount to nearly $700 billion (without US). If you add that to what the US spends we're talking over $1.7 trillion in military spending.

210 billion euros is not even enough for 1 year. The US spent trillions fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan against puny opponents and still lost. Fighting Russia requires 1 trillion euros a year.

They are already drip feeding Ukraine and yiy talk about this very expensive toy.
Also when this tank is ready Ukraine might already be just a pile of rubble.
I pity for the innocent (most of them) civilians of Ukraine.

Yes we now have spring, then summer coming, then autumn then winter. The eternal cycle. But one thing never changes: Russia is always ruled by a psychopath. If you know.
