Trump’s Three-Bloc Energy Strategy Is Taking Shape

  • U.S. strategy centers on controlling key energy chokepoints and supply chains to limit China’s and Russia’s geopolitical leverage.
  • A broader vision is emerging of a tripolar world order, with the U.S., China, and Russia dominating separate spheres of influence.
  • Expanding U.S. LNG exports and partnerships is key to strengthening global influence and reducing rivals’ energy access.

Put it simple, China's is leading in renewal technology and development goal is to make all energy consumption based on electricity. When it is achieved, the dependency on oil/ natural gas import will be reduced sharply. It is critical policy of the state security. And the Chinese are good at planning 20-30 years ahead. The country is run like a global company where the leaders have a clear agenda and deliver it via well planned strategy. While the Chinese are going forward by building a renewable infrastructure that leads the world other and in particular the USAand U.K. are going backwards and becoming more and more vulnerable. In U.K. we also have MAGA idiots demanding we drill baby drill. In exhausted gas and oil reserves in the North Sea waters

Dollar Use in Global Trade Rose to High Amid War, Swift Says

The ongoing conflict in the Middle East is solidifying the US dollar’s dominant role in global trade, according to one measure of activity in the interbank foreign-exchange markets.

The greenback’s portion of international transactions rose to a record 51.1% in March, up from 49.2% a month earlier, according to the latest data compiled by global financial messaging service Swift, or the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication. That’s the highest share since 2023 when the Belgium-headquartered consortium revised how it collects the transaction data.
