There's a comparable German missile called MARK I from a German start-up company:

The missile measures 65cm in length and has a range similar to that of METE.

Media reports claim that Gulf nations have already placed orders (!) for the MARK I missile. The estimated cost is around 43,000 Euros each. Is that considered inexpensive? I'm not entirely sure. Meanwhile, the Germans are already developing MARK 2, which is said to have a range of 8km.

I wonder how far Roketsan is.

I do not think that little missile can fly 8km, it does not have that much fuel. And the price is to expensive.

Distance between Ankara and Athens is around 819 km.

On Google Maps (mobile app),
  • Press down at a point,
  • It will generate a menu,
  • Select Measure Distance from the list.
You can start measuring distances with ease. 🙂
