Yeah, ‘look beyond past operations’ meaning forget about the merciless beating you got last time and ‘gear up for future challenges’ meaning do something to avoid a similar ass whupping next time, while secretly praying that he retires before ‘next time’ happens.

No one knows, even if the planes was smashed into 100 bits they would look at it and claim fixible as their default setting.

Will forever remember when tejas crashed in Dubai and the engine was in 1 piece indians said theyd simply put it in a airframe thats waiting for an engine to make up for loss

Dude if ground tests are already happening, we need yo see pics of the bird.

They have now lost 16 SU-30MKI, not far off a Sqds worth, however the REALLY interesting thing here is that 5 of these losses are in just the last 3 years. You take away that, and the type has a very decent safety record as they have been flying this plane for almost 30 years. This means that the recent spate of losses can indicate maintenence issues, possibly due to age or lack of support from Russia?

Reason su-30 is so much safer is because its twin engine but thats about it. I think increases in losses are simply byproduct of more use following retirement of mig-21/23/27 types. Lets not forget how defective this plane was when being inducted, Isreali EW that jammed own Russian avionics, engines with lifetime of 300 hrs etc

Did an indian plane crash in kishtwar kashmir?
