According to information from the official SUPARCO website:But no one knows the resolution. My guess is 1 m.
well the Ababeel was based on the Taimoor SLV , suparco showed its model tooOn the topic of SLVs none of our current rockets are remotely suitable to serve as one.
I really hope so!According to information from the official SUPARCO website:
1. PRSC-EOS represents the latest generation of remote sensing satellites. "The satellites will join the fleet of already in-orbit remote sensing satellites of Pakistan, i.e., PRSS-1 and PakTES-1A."
2. The panchromatic resolution of the PRSS-1 satellite is 0.98 meters.
SUPARCO has not disclosed the performance specifications of PRSC-EOS; however, Chinese media speculate that its performance falls approximately within the 0.5-meter class. It is of the same level as China's civilian high-performance remote sensing satellites.
Yeah saw that. VHF “might be” for bouncing comms or data link.View attachment 194130
The Kaukab 1 are the EO 1 , 2 , 3 sats
Its also says Hyperspectral imagery and we have launched one HyperSpectral Satelite
We have the PakNav also going as per members
2 SAR ones have been launched too
VHF Satellite ? @Bilal
what are the COTS , STRAP , SISM and ARZ-E-PAK ones??
Shaheen 3 was originally supposed to be a SLV booster too but it got changed a a lot, ababeel faces the same challenges as the S3, too slow, Too heavy and wrong type of engine required to reach orbit, even if it could somehow reach orbit the payloads it could carry would be absolutely tiny.well the Ababeel was based on the Taimoor SLV , suparco showed its model too
This is my own table.Might be too much to ask for but can anyone create a chart or table with list of all our active satelites , Names , year when launched , their purpose , their working mechanism like SAR , EO or Hyperspectral ? and maybe attach images .
This would greatly help this thread and make us understand how far are we from not relying on imagery providers say Maxar (ik its far fetched but still) . I would personally be really happy if it would happen , or yall can just provide me with the info i can make it after my exams ? @Bilal , @Pakistan Space Agency

No idea. It is something that was reported early on, (late 1980s and early 1990s) but information is scarce because Pakistan went dark after the Pressler Amendment (passed in 1985 and enforced in 1990).where is it btw , didnt know we had a launch pad
Taimoor never materialised. Just too expensive, and not a priority.well the Ababeel was based on the Taimoor SLV , suparco showed its model too
