Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he believes Iran is serious about making a deal with the U.S. “I think they are serious about getting themselves out of the mess that they’re in,” Rubio said Monday in an interview with Fox News’s Chief Foreign Correspondent Trey Yingst. “Price inflation is worse. They still have a drought going on. They still have trouble making payroll. Their economy’s flattened, they face crippling economic sanctions around the world. All those problems are there and many of them are worse.”

Rubio also said Iran’s fractured leadership has been the biggest impediment to reaching a deal. “They’re deeply fractured internally, and I think that’s always been the case, but I think it’s far more pronounced now,” Rubio said. “There are hardliners who understand they have to run a country and an economy, and there are hardliners that are completely motivated by theology.”

The Iranians are now using junk storage containers and ancient crude tankers to store their oil. Onshore storage capacity is nearly completely full. The blockade is working. Half a billion lost everyday

The US is now the dominant nation in global energy. The Strait of Hormuz is controlled by the US military. Iran controls nothing if you can’t import/export from your own ports. The Straits of Gibraltar and Malacca are effectively US controlled now after recent defense agreements with Morocco and Indonesia. The Venezuela oil industry capture speaks for itself. The US is stacking win after win.

Irans military got steamrolled. I’ve laid out the statistics in multiple previous posts. $300B in direct damage. Lost 50% of its missile stockpile to destruction or expenditure and 60% of its drone stockpile in less than 40 days of combat. 90% of its missile, drone, and naval production facilities are destroyed.

47 years of preparing for war against the US clearly didn't take this into account. .

Worse, Iran is suffering from a shortage of gasoline. A shortage of refineries will do that.

Tomorrow, I will post the latest EIA updates. Gasoline is jumping in my area with several stations showing an increase. Barely little movement in the price of #2 diesel.

Like banging a head against the wall exchanging with you, I told you blockade is not working Iran is getting ships through thats been documented in numerous news outlet even FT recently. John Mearsheimer said recently China is sending a military escort for its ships, you know when trumpy sees those ships his going to taco out again.

If you think US won great, tell trumpy to call the troops home then and let rest of the world trade normally.

US consumers are glad to know that. Definitely showing at the pump, the grocery store, air line tickets, and just about everything else that has a reliance on the petroleum industry.

I’ve posted multiple articles from the WSJ and NYT that prove the blockade is indeed working. Cope however you need to

The Iranians understand their current position is not tenable, as stated above in NYT. They know they’re economically cooked but can’t concede to US demands because it’s effectively defeat.
