The Sino-Indian tension over the Arunachal Pradesh dispute is reaching a decisive turning point. Last year, China gave the Indian-administered state of Arunachal Pradesh the Chinese name of Zangnan. Moreover, it had also officially changed the names of ninety places in the state.

The international community is seeing this strategic decision of China as a broader narrative by Beijing. In which China’s claim to ownership and territorial sovereignty rights over these areas is clear. However, China’s claim is based on historical and ethnic grounds. And the implications of this name change are profound. Especially in a geopolitical landscape that is already full of military competition and territorial disputes.

According to observers, China has set the stage for the next campaign against India with its deep strategy of giving the Chinese name of Arunachal Pradesh Zangnan. The places with important geographical features that have been renamed include mountains, rivers and mountain passes. Especially those areas that are strategically important and closest to the Chinese border region.

China’s emerging military power

China has been rapidly increasing its military presence and strike power on the Indian border for the past two years. Along with modernizing defense installations in the border areas of Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh, new installations are being built. There is a clear increase in the transportation of military equipment. Air strike power is being significantly increased. Especially with the powerful deployment of modern fighter and bomber aircraft at operational air bases.

And the world has seen the destruction of the Indian army, which has the most modern weapons like the Indian Rafale, at the hands of Pakistani pilots flying Chinese-made aircraft.
China’s strengthening military buildup is indicative of China’s broader war ambitions in the region. It is now eager to withdraw all its territories from India from Arunachal Pradesh to Ladakh. While Bangladesh’s strengthening strategic partnership with China in the region is emerging as a double threat to India.

According to defense observers, the possibility of an armed conflict is increasing in the near future. In view of China’s overwhelming military power, the changing scenario of the border dispute in Arunachal Pradesh can become a tough challenge for India. China is currently in a very strong position both logistically and strategically. India’s defense is facing tough challenges against China, which has become a formidable fighting force thanks to military modernization in the last two decades.

A major flashpoint in this challenging situation is the Ladakh region. Which has seen scenes of bloody clashes between Chinese and Indian soldiers. It may be recalled that the performance of the Indian army in the Sino-Indian conflict in the Ladakh sector six years ago was very weak, contrary to its claims. The Galwan Valley is a witness to the worst cowardice of the Indian Army. The killing of more than twenty Indian soldiers equipped with the latest weapons with iron rods by Chinese soldiers is a clear question mark on the combat ability of the Indian army.

In this scenario, China’s historical claims to Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh and Tibet are very firm and decisive. While strategic issues between India and Bangladesh and disputes like the Chicken Neck Corridor are making the unstable situation tenser. India has been facing difficulties in responding to Chinese military power and strategic planning. China uses a broad narrative to justify its clear position and intentions regarding areas like Arunachal Pradesh under Indian control.

While India is facing the complexities of diplomacy and strategic defense. The Modi government is facing difficulties due to its failed foreign policy, being distant from the international community.

India’s isolation from the international community

After the recent Iran-US war in the Middle East, anti-Israel sentiments are emerging among America’s European allies and within the United States. While despite Israel’s war crimes and brutal aggression, India’s expression of love for Israel is tarnishing its character. India is facing an isolation in the international community due to its support for Israel

China’s changes in the names of Arunachal Pradesh and its places mark decisive steps far beyond administrative adjustments. India’s occupation of Indian Arunachal Pradesh goes against China’s territorial sovereignty and national pride.

Latest Situation

In this situation, the escalation of the military conflict between the two nuclear-powered neighbors could be dangerous not only for the two countries but also for regional stability and global peace. Historically, India’s neighbors and minority populations of non-Hindu religions have been victims of India’s growing state, religious terrorism and aggressive war madness. Whereas, facing India, the stormy Chinese power, standing tall in its full stature, is now ready to crush India’s claims of power and arrogance.

Strategic diplomacy seems to be a delicate thread in the background of military preparations on both sides. Both countries are linking their ambitions and disputed territories with history. The future of Arunachal Pradesh or Zangnan and the history of China-India tensions is moving towards a new decisive phase. Arunachal Pradesh is going to become Zangnan very soon.

Finally, the seal of China’s territorial sovereignty is going to be placed on the Indian-occupied Chinese territories of Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh and Tibet. And surely this modern story of Indian defeat will continue to spread as a new light of hope for the Muslims of occupied Kashmir. The evolution of history is moving towards the freedom of Kashmir.

China Strongly Claimes Arunachal Pradesh as its Zangnan.jpg

India has disputes with al its neighbours and that’s because historically india has never existed as a country with defined borders. These are British colonial Raj made up borders. China does not recognise Assam province rightly as part of india Arunachal Pradesh. Which is why China claims Arunachal Pradesh.

South Tibet/Arunachal Pradesh never belonged to India. It was part of Qing dynasty China.

I hope China gets its land back like it should get Taiwan back.

Considering that the name "Zangan" did not even exist till last year.

Certainly gives a lot of credence to Chinese ownership of Arunachal Pradesh, or your endorsement of it..lol

Lol, that's only because you Indians are not aware of the name. It's is the Chinese name for the region ever since Tibet was/is part of China.
