United Arab Emirates to quit oil cartel Opec

So this is a good news for rest of the world right?

The lesser control OPEC has over global oil production is better for oil importing countries.

Th Emirati devils are at it again.

English translation:
The hugging of the waste has ended.

The era of flattery is over.

There are so many UAE threads around last 4 weeks, can we merge them all in one thread related to UAE?

looks like UAE v Saudi rivalry is now almost at it's end game, next move will be by the Saudis. I think both Iran and Saudi realise if they can make a deal and some sort of peace with each other UAE can be carved up.....

UAE is empty and they are now getting desperate

they need more money because tourism is dead

so now they want to go back to oil and pump more

this will put them into a political situation with Saudi Arabia

which will in true damage relationship with Pakistan

UAE is a proper Israeli whore

I’m not talking from an oil production perspective.

سب کی غیرت مٹی میں ملی ہے ؟

if talking about ghairat....these modern-day gulfies NEVER had any.

Expecting them to have any, nah.

This has Israel written all over it. Give it sometime, they'll get UAE to do their bidding against Iran/Saudi. In my opinion, i won't be surprised if in medium term, Saudi decides send UAE back to stone age, Iran may fancy some of the land/islands etc. Pakistan will likely be part of it too. I hope we get the best pie!

If you have investments in UAE, time to reconsider me thinks.

TOO LATE for those that have investments in UAE/Dubai, essentially all lost.
Bcaz UAE won't allow the investor to take it and leave.

And this upcoming war, this will be the final nail in the coffin for the gulfies.......kiss the mideast goodbye.....although i am concerned how KSA will handle all this.

this will mean more war in the mideast and a big problem for south asian expats and labor who will be the most affected when war happens and all those fancy/cushy/labor jobs disappear into thin air.......many wont even get the chance to escape to homeland......

obviously will take some time but shit is about to hit the fan.....

OPEC kept prices down, at the behest of USA admittedly.

UAE wants to set HIGHER prices for fools like you, hence they ditched OPEC.

Anyone watching this from afar will see the move for what it is - a desperate play by a totally cornered plastic empire.

I feel UAE has been given some concrete assurances from Tel Aviv and Washington DC, they know that Arabs were practically useless against Iran attacks, and all the countries such as Bahrain and Kuwait and KSA were using American systems and possibly American operators to use those systems, UAE is small and have little to no local population so they want to align themselves with powerful players which are America and Israel.
