Actually J-10 has these problems even more.

You could get F-16 parts from Turkey. And those parts will last much more. Egypt's F-16s were built in Turkey for example
turkey manufacturers Didley squat of the
f 16 without the permission or the delivery of the basic sub sys from LM.....in otherwords nothing is really build of the
f 16 in turkey only assembled.....n given the semblance of being manufactured.
Egypt has 200 plus f 16 but limited to no bvr capacity....useless ac against its only adversary.....isreal
. Whereas China is the only supplier of the J-10 parts.

Pakistan-China relations seem to be very stable so so far that's not a problem But it doesn't mean it will always be like this.
It been like that for some 50 odd years, so my bets are on strong n stable Pak-China relationship for the foreseeable future....a few bumps here n there don't count

it seems you haven't heard of F16 Özgür project. I'd do some googling if I were you.
I suggest u read my post again n this time slowly....better yet I'd post the important bit for u
"Turkey manufacturers Didley squat of the

U can name then wt ever takes ur fancy but u ain't even craping with the permission of LM... f16 ie

I suggest you do as I say and look up Özgür project. And tell me when Turkey asked for LM permission.

parts production and maintenance has nothing to do with LM. We need US permission to build new airframes. Not just LM but congress needs to approve.

Not only we have structurally rebuilt most of our F-16s, we're upgrading half of the fleet with Turkish avionics.

But foget about Turkey, Forget about TAI. F16s are pretty much everywhere, even Ukraine is getting them. It would be very easy for Pakistan to get black market parts from various sources That's how Iran still fly their F-14s and the GE F110 engines can operate for thousands of hours.

I can't stress this enough. CHINA IS THE ONLY SOURCE FOR J-10 PARTS
Nah if we want to upgrade our f16s by turkey usa will say no while J10c is already superior to most f16s and equal to F16 block 70.

If I am not wrong. We’d need US permission to remove/replace subsystems in order to upgrade the F16s.

I don't know the legal technicalities but Turkey didn't really ask for permission for the Özgür program from what I can tell.

New F-16s are no go for Pakistan for multiple reasons:

- Not offered to Pakistan at first place.
- Cost (block 70s are super costly)
- Weapons (Even if US allow the sales, it will not sell the latest AMRAAMs and other weapons with it)
- Post sale restrictions / monitoring on usage.

never said it was, once again you're countering arguments never made.

I suggest you see a psychiatrist. You might be dyslexic.

I think @Reichmarshal got my point.

Iran had been delivered 79 f 14 by 79 with one waiting delivery in the u.s.

By 83 iran was down to 13-16 operational ac.by 2000 it was down to 5-6 operational ac.right now it has 16 odd operational ac.
They have maintained that fleet through canabslization of other f 14 air frames.
Wt made the f 14 so special was its radar which had a detection range of 400 miles of a bobmber size ac coupled with its long range phoenix missiles. Since around 83_84 most of the ac lost the ability to use the radar due to lack of spares.
Iran was the worst example u could give in support of ur argument.

One of our f 16 was structurally damaged some years back n was written of by LM.....PAC brought it back to life in house n had it certified by LM n its still flying.

So going by ur def. Of manufacturing now PAC is manufacturing the structure/frame of the f 16 ?
Things don't work that way.
I repeat it again n for the last time wt turkey manufactures ias regards to the f16 is inconsequential.....
If LM say today withdraws it support n the u.s sanctions turkey....in a few month most of the fleet would be grounded. They would have to cut the flying hrs n

I personally dont believe sanctions can be circumvented via Turkiye, but I'm no expert. @Oscar is the right gent to address this.

Is this the same aircraft, that was damaged when it launched an LGB ?

Our F16s is getting old except the F16 block 52 , we will start to replace our oldest F16s in 2030s with J10C and probably J-31
