most of Pakistan's arsenal is relatively low yield, probably 40-50 kiloton for the largest ones carried by Shaheen 3s, 10 kiloton ones carried by Baburs raads and Abdalis, 2-3 kiloton one for battlefield use from Nasrs.

Indians probably have 200 kiloton warheads. Hell even the North Korea has tested 250 kiloton warhead.
High yield fission warheads are boosted with tritium--one of the most expensive materials. Only a few grams of tritium mixed with deuterium substantially increases the yields of fission weapons. It also helps to reduce the required amount of fissile material and coupled with plutonium allows for lightweight compact warheads with higher yields.

For every 72 kg of weapons-grade plutonium produced in heavy water reactors, 1 kg of tritium is obtained. Tritium has a half-life of 12.3 years and tritium stocks must be replenished regularly.

Modern warheads in all nuclear armed states contain tritium and minus the tritium, nuclear warheads would become militarily insignificant.

Remove the tritium from the British Trident missile's primary and the yield drops to 0.3 kt.

When PAEC initiated work on the Khushab Complex in 1985 (Khushab-1 production reactor and heavy water plant) it also acquired a tritium facility from a West German firm whose representative visited Pakistan to help with the installation and met chairman Munir Ahmad Khan in July 1988 for a cup of tea.

what is the difference between fateh 2 400km and fateh 3 abdali 450km
Must be different in payload and flight profile, otherwise 50 km more range does not make logical sense for the existence of an entirely different system

@Ak01 @Quwa the Ukrainians have been struggling with Mass production of CMs too, They use like 3 Neptune's each month and maybe a few flamingos besides that its all drones, the flamingo has an absolutely terrible penetration rate of less then 10%

What production rate is realistically possible for us considering Ukraine is far more industrialized compared to us (granted most of that industry is focused on drones)? Maybe 100 missiles combined F2/SMASH/Babur/Taimour per year

Some got hanged - others earlier met demises other ways.
This is one place where a career means you essentially sign away your life.
You really have to be a sick person and mentally sick from birth to be this insane to do something like this.

I mean, i can understand, for most it is money or promises of other worldly material things.....i can also understand mostly who do this kind of thing are fed up with the system or have their own schools of thought......but doing this much harm is just outrightly stupid and insane.

Unfortunately we have such examples everywhere, from US/Soviet times to Russians, WWII, WWI, Europe, India everywhere.

Abdali was already a nuclear missile under hatf-2 . Fatah-3 seems to me a modified conventional missile instead
I think Fateh family is going to be eventually low cost, high production volume. It will be good if they prioritize enough production so Pakistan bombard Indian skies with them and let their S-400s/Akash/barak or whatever deal with them, expending their interceptors and giving away their locations.

For the Americans it was purely ideological, for the Soviets it was mixture of both, Poor living conditions + fed up with the system, In our case it is almost entirely material, promise of a ticket abroad.

one of the biggest reasons CIA hasn't been able to rebuild its Spy network in China after it was essentially completely dismantled is because the living standards of the average Chinese has improved to the point that it's pretty difficult to find somebody desperate enough to spy for you, and where the population has a very high degree of satisfaction towards the government due to the massive economic and poverty uplift in less then a single generation.

Pakistan is a gold mine for any intelligence agency, high degree of extreme poverty, massive discontent towards the establishment, multiple active Insurgencies, and government that's more focused towards arresting people for what they say on Twitter and putting their face on every trash can then solving these issues.

ISI is an absolutely dogshit intelligence agency btw.

Also did a quick Google AI comparison between SMASH and RAFAEL'S ROCKS ALBM which can be mounted on an F-16. So if they can bring SMASH closer to Rocks in terms of weight and dimensions, then it can be a potent ALBM class weapon in PAF's arsenal.

Boss, your AI put an ICBM level weight on SMASH.

Abdali carries heavier warhead, as nuclear capable.
Pakistan has strategic warheads of around 700kg weight, and sub strategic warheads of lighter weights. That being a level above tactical battlefield warheads .
Abdali is for carrying sub strategic yield nuclear warheads.
The missile itself changes shape three times.
This is the original Abdali.

Then there was Avdali 1, which had delta winglets for maneuvers and course correction. You need to zoom in for seeing the little winglets at the front .
Hatf-2_Abdali_Parade.jpg

There was a third version , which has the same shape as Abdali one, minus the top winglets , and an aero spike . Although the aero spike isn't visible in this picture. , But no front winglets . Original picture by Haseeb bhai , TheDeterrant .

Original range was 180 km.
