Official ROKETSAN statements emphasize difficulty to intercept due to speed and "advanced capabilities to confuse air defense systems" aligning with MaRV traits


TAYFUN Block 4 can have MaRV capability without large visible canards

Alternative control methods exist:

• Moving fins or flaps on the re-entry vehicle (smaller or differently placed than traditional canards).
• Reaction Control System using small thrusters or gas jets for attitude control in the thin upper atmosphere (common in many MaRV designs before full aerodynamic control kicks in during denser air).
• Aerodynamic shaping of the re-entry body itself (slight asymmetry, movable petals, or advanced heat-shield designs) combined with thrust vectoring or internal actuators.
