I think its your browser issue. If you can tell me more about it, i might be able to help. A screenshot might be helpful. Also, which browser do you use?

Ohhhh.. yeah man. I just use Firefox for this site and Chrome for others. The site works fully in Chrome.
Otherwise (in FF), Ctrl+B opens the Bookmark tab instead of triggering bold font. I think there are some inherent issues in the browser (though fully updated).

Firefox is a mess now. Try Vivendi or Brave browser.

I use FF for Linux as well as Windows not to mention both are configured with a number of extensions. No issue here.

Will have to look at it. Besides FF, currently have Brave and Tor on the Linux box.
