I happened to perform surgery on a very senior recently retired PAF officer …

I did not know who he was or what position he held until after I called him home for post op and he was very thankful and asked me to come over to his son’s house for tea sometime .

I took up his offer and we had a very detailed discussion on PAF’s performance last year.

Here is what he feels :

PAF planes performed flawlessly…. We had a complete control over air space in terms of air-air scenarios ..

However we did not perform well in ground to air defences and our interception of enemy cruise and supersonic missiles was less than satisfactory .

I personally had a same feeling …. Indians have a huge advantage in standoff Air to ground weapons and platforms to utilize them . We unfortunately don’t have as accurate systems and those that we do have are few and expensive to use .

We need to urgently upgrade our ground to air defences and yes Indians did very well in this respect…. Much better than us ….

One more thing …. I was taking about our present air chief and how much I despise him for accepting extension and he told me that he actually trained him on some courses ( didn’t ask which and where ) and he is a competent officer and yes there is a coordinated effort against him by several retired PAF officers but he is a good pilot and a leader.

He works until 2-3 AM and is pretty tough on his subordinates .

I asked why he likes to splash his pic on every poster and interview and his response was Bhai this is all decided by the GHQ….. they want this group to be presented as a saviour of the nation and as such self publicity is pushed and imposed .

I wasn’t really satisfied but I can tell you this person I am talking to is a true gem of a person …. Amazingly knowledgeable, professional and a true Patriot.

I somewhat think of our present chief differently after talking to him .

I also asked him about his interaction with different politicians and he hands down said IK was gold and dumbest and stupidity character is Nawaz and most corrupt Zardari .

He took me through this long story about Mirage 2000 corruption scandal and the deal which was imposed on PAF when no one wanted it and how they got out of it . Maleeha Lodhi’s brother was a front man for Zardari and whole deal was catered to make money for Zardari at PAF expense ….

How the story was leaked and deal made to collapse …

Yeah
And look its a typical phenomenon that happens which is why I also ask for verified sources prior to celebration but the PTI cult has(for reasons that are very valid) taken a anti-positive approach to anything that happens in Pakistan which is completely invalid but does align with the cult mindset.

There is a great example and you can see Mehdi mocking Michael Knowles as a Cultist and you see similar behavior from PTi cultists in every other thread - which is they grant IK every possible pass under the sun while only seeking to endlessly criticize the other side AND even dismissing those that are MORE vociferous then them in criticizing the establishment and other parties ONLY BECAUSE THEY DONT FOLLOW THEIR EXACT CULT SCRIPT.

Glad to see moderator himself indulging in cult and political discussion in a military forum .

However if I was to say something I will be banned ( a badge of honour for me ).

I am sure it’s crystal clear to everyone I am a die hard PTI supporter as such I represent the educated , loyal, free mind , democratic and entrepreneurial sector of the society .

Yes I do not take order and say YES SIR or born with Pandoo genes to become a cursed Patwari but I do know when something is right and something is wrong .
The present government has unleashed a cyber force with the sole task of pretending to be PTI members and tarnsih the image of the party and the leader .
Now any half wit will see and understand this but as I said there are two types of people innPakistan …. Those who say YES SIR and follow blindly every order they are told or really low IQ and genetically deficient Patwari type who after decades of inbreeding are left with a brain the size of a rat testicle .

This is other side of the coin - your only response to what I said reflects EXACTLY what I pointed out. When in cult mode you are ready absolve every one your cults faults yet be able to immediately attack everything from modship, to banning to political discourse when quite frankly that has been initiated many times by PTI supporters in this thread.

You are affirming that Michael Knowles behavior right here in trying to do every whataboutism from Mod to Patwaris( WHO ARE UMPTEENTH TIMES WORSE IN MANY WAYS - you can put this in your signature and I fall upon that sword for you) or single minded military and government officers who try to act beyond boundaries and protect their fiefdoms while playing with the fate of a country - without addressing the key problem of “Here is a national security issue that while deserving of critical analysis does not need a constant duffers,**** etc type of discourse”.

This is their bias that they are having difficulty in overcoming. Clearly India was the loser in the conflict from last May, failing to satisfy the promises and live up to poses it had made to the West.

you can see that some American veterns who have their youtube channels were visibly upset that Indians was beaten in the airwar so comprehensively.
