This is other side of the coin - your only response to what I said reflects EXACTLY what I pointed out. When in cult mode you are ready absolve every one your cults faults yet be able to immediately attack everything from modship, to banning to political discourse when quite frankly that has been initiated many times by PTI supporters in this thread.

You are affirming that Michael Knowles behavior right here in trying to do every whataboutism from Mod to Patwaris( WHO ARE UMPTEENTH TIMES WORSE IN MANY WAYS - you can put this in your signature and I fall upon that sword for you) without addressing the key problem of “Here is a national security issue that while deserving of critical analysis does not need a constant duffers,**** etc type of discourse”

Your response exactly shows your complete and utter lack of understanding why people like me are so upset with the present set up that has disenfranchised huge segment of our population and why people refuse to acknowledge and celebrate even legitimate achievements of our armed forces .

It is too easy for general masses to use word “army” to point finger of blame at rather than the “generals” …. Who is to blame for this attitude of masses ? PTI or the generals in charge .

I will give you a simple example … I have treated over 24000 patients so far and very large number are Pakistanis for obvious reason….I can swear that it doesn’t matter which side of the border I work… NY or Ontario there is an absolute hatred for the “army” and I can also swear I spend hours preaching and correcting that the blame lies at the top and not with our jawans and ranks who are more loyal than me and you . It is a very hard sell. The level of hatred has crossed all limits …

I often get yelled at PTI forums for preaching understanding and to correct PTI political course and policies if we want to survive and make any difference at all … unfortunately disenfranchising such large segment of educated and loyal Pakistanis is truly devastating for our country .

I do not consider Patwaris as humans so I will leave them out of this discussion .


I recently had an interaction with some senior level army officials in Pakistan.

One of my very close Afghani friend’s relative went to Islamabad to get his visa from the Canadian embassy . He had a ligit visa for Pakistan . Later that day he was picked up by the “agency” and their young Son is missing for 7 months now …..
this family is as bloody anti Taliban as it gets and their son is gone simply vanished … then we wonder why Afghans hate us ??

I personally paid a Brig. level active member to get some PTI workers released who were picked up after the crack down …. He basically laughed and said these Afghanis are all crooks and he will see what he can do but don’t have any hope … are they animals that we pick them up and with out any charge kill them ?

Our country is going in a very wrong direction and even though I understand the difference between the institutions and self imposed leaders I sometime feel like loosing hope .

It’s almost we are on the path of self destruction and the nation building is limited to adds and TV self promotions ….

Only time will tell if this system survives or Pakistan … Pakistan without a united population will loose its meaning .

Yep saw like 10 vids of jets taking of from bases all over , probably just normal sorties but since It’s may every one thinks it’s something
man our people have to learn to stfu
And not record/post vids of airbase activity

yes despite getting few scores from Brhamos missiles they still were a disappoiment and the world acknolwdged Pakistani victory. world only follows and respects the victors. from GCC to America there was praise for Pakistan. not possible if India had any thing close to a face saving achievement that it could spam and sell as a victory.

Pakistan has NEVER been united. Same as India and BD.

This also isn't the first time that a party is at odds with the establishment.

PPP and its supporters had the same sentiment post ZAB's death sentence. Just because PTI operates in the age of internet and has the ability to amplify its point of view and dislike for the establishment does not mean that all of Pakistan is disenfranchised.

As far as going in the wrong direction is concerned, we have been told repeatedly since the 1960s at least that Pakistan has been going in the wrong direction. Maybe what you perceive to be the wrong direction is the "normal" direction for this country.

Last, nothing lasts forever. Not the previous setups and not this one. So a page will be turned and those that sit disenfranchised may feel differently and I hope IK is freed and some normalcy returns between the parties. Whether you support your country or not on the basis of your politics, that is your prerogative. I just remember that the masses that make up the base for PTI took PML-N/PPP to task for their perceived anti-state actions in the past. Now the shoe is on the other foot it seems.

Not really, even if you look at Israel and Iran or the GCC, A.D can only do so much and missiles or drones penetrating A.D is inevitable

We should be ready with teams whose aim will be to repair damage asap so runways etc can continue to be used in the war effort


It's one thing to have distance between you and your enemy so your A.D has a chance but our enemy is literally next door and some of these strikes will have very very limited time to react

Just one thing to add … in the past politicians had their corruption and misdeeds laundered and discussed in public …. Never before in the absence of any corruption charges politicaisn’s wife length of period were discussed on TV .

Sorry let me clarify my comments … respected ex PAF member was worried not about how many projectiles landed in Pakistan ….. his comments were more critical of how many of our projectiles actually did damage in India and hit their targets .
