Gas is around $4.80 per gallon here now. Upon visiting a gas station I saw the previous user of the pump had spent $80 dollars for about 13 gallons. Myself spent $67 to fill up a tank that usually costs $40. The gas prices are really biting people in the rear.

Ted was indeed a pioneer when it came to the 24 hour news format. I remember the early days watching CNN and it was the most trusted name in news.

Now? Not so much.

Outside of his politics, his philanthropy work should not be overlooked.

He was the last generation of businesspeople who earned a lot of money but then also gave back to society. The "noblesse oblige" principle, like the Carnegie's and Vanderbilt's and Rockfeller's of old. Nowadays rich folks like the techbros just take take and take.
