Google Maps are many months old. But don’t take these images seriously as there is chatter on X that these are not official and have been doctored.

Any possible reason for that ? Because it doesn't make sense. Like, if they didn't released them we would still be fine. But releasing the images but doctored, doesn't make sense to me. Yes it may be to confuse the enemy, but then the enemy have its own sattelites for atleast a decade and are not bother about what we release.

The chatter is the account posting these is not really official, it’s just posing as one.

PRSS-1 was 1,200 kg, other EOs are above 600 kg, anyway, weight alone does not decide usefulness. Reuters reported ICEYE’s 48-satellite SAR fleet provides near-real-time imaging, and ICEYE itself states its first SAR satellite was under 100 kg.

I was talking about "Near" -Real time monitoring , we dont need 25 satalites, we dont need permanent live video coverage, we are not building the capability to find jason bourne. We are building ISR capability to track large military movements across the border and locate fixed HV targets.

Pakistan already faces sanctions pressure related to missile-applicable technologies (MTCR controls include space launch vehicles), so launching satellites through China is politically safer, cheaper and faster for now.
