CCTV systems should be installed in all Police stations so that conduct of police is recorded as evidence. CCTV systems should also be installed at all Courts. But Police systems has to be autonomous. What other solution is there?

Police matter is not just about Punjab now, is it? It is a big problem in Sindh too.....probably bigger than it is in Punjab. I have no idea about KPK or Baluchistan but I have no reason to believe why they should be any better.

Another important thing to do would be to depoliticize the police by taking away the executive authority from CM and making the Police an autonomous body. When the political goons are unable to influence the Police, they will not be able to get away with all the murders, ghunda gardi, land grabbing, gambling, kidnappings, drug businesses, illegal arrests and detentions, etc. and the Police system will become much better.

You know what is pathetic? Having to call army to fight bunch of terrorists with nothing else but some guns. Low IQ is showed by the fact that KPK police still after 15 years cannot deal terrorists. KPK get Rs2 trillion from federation every year and they waste all that with corruption and useless govt jobs handouts. They didn't invest anything in CTD to counter terrorism.
