PA MLRS, Self Propelled and towed artillery [BM-11, Fatah-I GMLRS, Fatah-II] - News, Updates & Discussions

Prithvi was derived from the SA-2 SAM.

The Agni programme drew on experience gained from SLV-3, which itself drew on the US Scout sounding-rocket.

BrahMos is a rebranded conventional variant of Yakhont, as you say.

Are you sure Prithvi was developed from SA2 and not V2? 😀

indians are back after ipsr's strike. now they cant talk much but talk like dogar aye paint aye bus. brahmose ers is over
Can u blame these sub human dalits? Becharay try something against Pakistan and as usual they get hammered by it, to the point their PM Modi crys abt getting bitch slapped.

The insecurities and the weight of the chip on their shoulders is immense.

Absolutely spot on brother

just make these rockets nuclear capable so it can strike full devastation onto the enemy and destroy their fucking dreams forever.
No. The whole point of establishing the Army Rocket Force was so we can fight India with missiles while remaining below the nuclear threshold.

India used Brahmos during the last conflict which it had been saying for decades that it was a nuclear capable supersonic missile. However, after the conflict India said this was only a conventional weapon. This is the only reason we didn't use our nuclear capable Baburs and other systems during the conflict.

With the establishment of the ARF, there's no more ambiguity, meaning, in any future conflict, if Indians fire missiles and they will get an instant missile response from Pakistan. Hence we have a year-long "pause-fire".

HD-1 and related missiles from the Guangdong mining company is very weird indeed. Most Chinese private military supply companies are military supply focused lol. This missile is indeed from a mining company. Apparently the story was that this mining company had some downturns and lots of experienced engineers with not much to do and some of the engineers had background in military industry so they decided to branch off into missiles lol.

Apparently it's also treated like a bit of a joke by Chinese military fans. BUT perhaps Pakistan purchased the rights to the missile at whatever development point they had it and indigenised it. Making the Fatah III a Pakistani missile rather than the Guangdong mining company's product.

Either way what is shown as Fatah III is clearly still different to the 4 intake version of the HD-1 mockup. Implying there has been more work on that missile to get it to Pakistan.

The funny thing is that these dumbasses were pitching this Kub with lipstick to Brazil in a competition which included the Chinese sky dragon 50 and the CAMM ER and they weren't even pitching the newest variant as you can guess Brazilians told them to essentially **** off.

In this clearer image of the alleged Fatah-3, you can see the missile has an X-intake shape, not the dual side intakes.

There are different variants of the HD-1, while most images posted here show the dual intake variant.

It looks like anti aircraft / ABM to me if you see design features.

This has been Pakistan’s modus operandi over the last decade or so.

A case in point is Guangdong Hongda, the company that developed this missile is primarily a Chinese mining company.

Pakistan often purchases off-the-shelf missiles and drones from private Chinese firms — most of these products are neither used by the PLA nor widely exported internationally.

These systems are then rebranded as Fateh, Nasr, Faaz, Burraq, Shahpar, etc., and presented as indigenously developed products of GIDS, NESCOM, etc. to fool the common people.

So if India can buy the Oniks and rebrand it Brahmos

Why can't we buy HD1 with TOT and then make it in Pakistan as Fatah 3????

India should have gone with domesticating the Tor system for SHORAD instead of the Gainful/Kub. Not sure why they didn't do that instead. The ramjet SAM is a really outdated idea and now India has updated the Akash to get rid of the ramjet propulsion and use just rocket only.

With all that effort they could have gotten a domesticated Tor or Pantsir. China decided to domestic the Tor way back in the day. Why did India consider a ramjet.

Pakistan simply can't make everything, sometimes it's more frugal just to buy a product with TOT and go from there

Then you can develop the product to fulfill whatever role you want with whatever range you need any without restrictions

Do we have any space/satellite experts here? How come Shahpar II and Tipu remain effective in the future if Beidu is not available? Can we use our own constellation?
Pakistan is a partner in beidou program. And has access to military grade signals from the system.
Why do you think Beidou will atop being available?

Have a look at this PDF file
