TBH, in this example, nothing was leaked. This was new for us only.

Other governments probably knew about the test.

I wouldn't put it past the geniuses at ISPR to have asked the interviewer to ask these questions so the Lt Col could 'leak' the Fatah 5 test.

But I agree nonetheless ,active duty personnel should not be on TV doing these cringey interviews

They just announced the existence of Fatah-5, but they are holding onto the info of its type. Is it an SRBM or GLCM?

Relax bro - you don't have to be overly critical of such tiny things.

Youtube is full of TV shows / documentaries of interviews involving military personnel from nearly all major militaries.

Might be too early for Fatah V ? Looking at the range of capabilities, the only thing missing from the rocket force is hypersonic platforms and that may be Fatah V ( imho of course ). I am not sure we will ever see an ICBM in Pakistan's service, not required and would cause issues that Pakistan cannot withstand yet given Pakistan is a nuclear power.

( I think what we will see on 14th August 2026 is a J-35AE in PAF colours as the lead of the fly-past .. There I called it .. lol ).
