Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

That 2nd pilot thing in hospital, later clarified as fog of war, was also a very poor reflection of professionalism.
I believe it was fog of war, situation doesn't pan out exactly during war as we anticipate. Ghafoor handled it well. When he clarified it was because of two different chain of commands reporting the same message the matter was resolved without further incident. Indians were holding on to straws anyway when they tried to milk the situation.

Then why bother at all. Just designate one officer to give press statements in addition to his regular duties and defund the ISPR. Outsource the video editing to some guy on Fiverr.

Divert that budget to welfare for Jawaans.
I like the idea 😀

@Panzerkiel is a professional . He knows a lot more about it
I think the two claims are not mutually exclusive or contradictory. While Pakistan might get the core integration know-how for HD-1 missile from Guangdong Hongda, it can either produce at least some of the required components locally and procure the remaining components 'from China's vast component supply market' as Michael has mentioned.

I would be interested to see anti radiation seekers on the F2/3 to target the S400 and other systems on the other side. A quick reaction fast strike targeting their main long range SAMs would nullify any operation footprint they might have within Pakistan.

You need to be in the air, get painted for that to work. It won’t work as these missiles can’t loiter in hope to get painted by a radar.

What can be done the same sensor to shooter link can be extended to target the AD by ground based systems.

If the missiles were data linked into our network, much like the PL15s, you wouldn't need that. The missiles could be fired in "lock on after launch" mode, with course correction provided by other sensors to give a rough triangulation for the SAM, and onboard sensors to provide the exact fix

Once the coordinates are known and passed down to the shooter, you don’t need anti-radiation seeker on the missile being shot at that coordinate.

The decision cycle need to be compressed so the target doesn’t relocate and other types of on-board sensors (IIR with ATR for instance) can do the terminal guidance part to assure target destruction.
