Do you really think this individual would be permitted to spew such nonsense within the UAE without the explicit blessing of the Emirati higher-ups? In a country where people are routinely rounded up just for posting the wrong photo on social media, it’s clear: dissent is managed, and 'nonsense' is sanctioned. The Gulf states are renowned for silencing anyone who speaks out; therefore, this rhetoric carries the full backing of the UAE government.
I’ve said it before: when the situation truly escalates, Pakistan must play its strongest cards. First, close Pakistani airspace to all Emirati carriers. These airlines rake in massive profits by ferrying Pakistani expats and European transit passengers at the direct expense of our own national carriers. That ends now.
Second, we initiate Intelligence Decoupling, ending all cooperation on counter-terrorism and maritime security in the North Arabian Sea.
Third, we execute a Withdrawal of Military Personnel. We should recall every active-duty and retired officer currently serving as a trainer, pilot, or technician for the UAE Armed Forces. If the UAE wants to go running to India, let them—they are already effectively transforming the Emirates into 'Hindustan' anyway.
Finally, we pivot toward Strategic Realignment. By intensifying the 'Quadrilateral' alliance with Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt, and opening land corridors with Iran, we can bypass Emirati maritime influence entirely. Whether it’s Yemen or Libya, Pakistan should provide consultative and logistical support to any faction opposing UAE interests, while placing heavy regulatory restrictions on Emirati firms currently operating in our telecommunications and port sectors.
