JERUSALEM (AP) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu´s office said Wednesday that he secretly visited the United Arab Emirates during the Iran war.

Netanyahu met with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during the visit, the Israeli leader´s office said. It added that the visit "resulted in a historic breakthrough in relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates."

The announcement comes just a day after U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee revealed that Israel had sent Iron Dome air-defense weapons to UAE along with personnel to operate them.

The UAE has not commented on the reported visit by the Israeli leader.

BREAKING: Chinese companies have been discussing major new arms sales to Iran, explicitly ignoring Trump's letter to Xi that he should not allow arms transfers, with Xi replying that he was "not doing so."

China plans to route the weapons through third countries with the goal of masking origins. A previous $5 billion Chinese weapons delivery to Iran included 1,200 FN-6 MANPADS, one of which is suspected of downing a US F-15E over Iran on April 3.

NEW: Ahead of the Trump-Xi summit, Iran has granted more than 10 Chinese ships, including VLCC oil tankers, permission to transit the Strait of Hormuz in the past two days through its Persian Gulf Strait Authority, pre-empting any US attempt to use China as leverage on Iran during the summit.

With China receiving 50 percent of its oil through Hormuz, Xi can now tell Trump that Chinese ships are transiting while the Hormuz crisis is Trump's problem.

You are right about UAE been surrounded, but that's why they sold themselves to Israel, they might have learn from the whole KSA-Qatar tension that how KSA can make Qatari's life hell, UAE don't want to be in that position hence they are sucking up to Israel even at the cost of internal rifts and getting surrounded by Iran/KSA like regional powers, but if I was UAE i will probably do the same, like I said Arabs are last people you want to rely on that they will come to your rescue, they are nothing but rich cucks and disgrace to their own ancestors who conquered 2 super powers of that time.
