i dont think so, i think the azeris would probably stick to Russian style Bort numbers, they have done so on the C27J's.

Unless the Azeris orders are being routed through nominal acceptance in PAF first. There was some evidence when PAF flagged airframes flew for their republic day march, and allegedly were meant to be the first transfers. Later there was a release of a new ones on tarmac with Pakistani flag released, again allegedly for the Azeris.

i think that was people exaggerating the truth/twisting it.

Its not new to see aircraft types that are on order by the country to participate in parades using other airframes. The JF-17s we saw in AZ may not have been azeri ones.

I dont personally believe they are, we saw a mix of Block 2B's deployed alongside Block 3's, i dont know why the azeris would buy 2 Block 2B's and then the rest block 3's/
