Nothing democratic about china one party system
My friend, democracy is not a set of rules made by the West.

My university tuition was covered by a national loan, with an interest rate of 0 during my studies. After graduation, the interest rate was the lowest rate. This policy allows everyone to have the opportunity to receive an education and compete for management positions. What do you think of this kind of democracy?

Near where I live, there was construction at night, which disturbed my rest. I called the government department to request handling of the matter, and thirty minutes later the noise stopped. Then a government staff member called to ask whether I was satisfied with the handling result. What do you think of this kind of democracy?

I went to the hospital to ask the doctor about physical care, and the bill was 352 yuan. After receiving the medication, 88 yuan was deducted from my employee medical card, and the rest did not need to be paid. This is for personal physical care; if it were for illness, the reimbursement rate would be 90%. What do you think of this kind of democracy?

Every level of government has a message website, where everyone can report problems, and government personnel will reply after resolving the issue. What do you think of this kind of democracy?

In China, drug trafficking can be sentenced to death, senior officials can also be sentenced for bribery, and child molestation can be punished by death.

Evaluating whether a country's political system is democratic and effective mainly depends on whether all the people can manage state and social affairs according to law, manage the economy and cultural undertakings, whether the public can freely express their interests and demands, whether all aspects of society can effectively participate in political life, whether state decisions can be scientific and democratic, whether talent from all fields can enter the leadership and management system through fair competition, whether the ruling party can lead state affairs according to the constitution and laws, and whether the exercise of power can be effectively restrained and supervised.

This is China's explanation of democracy. China is pragmatic. If the United States were truly democratic, it would not have had only two parties alternating in power over 250 years. If India were truly democratic, the practice of buying votes with money would not occur. Chinese people do not welcome Western-style fake democracy.

China has opened a visa-free policy, and as more and more people come to travel in China, I believe your perspective will change.

Good, I am glad you came to defend your point of view. Thank you.

Starting from 1840, we have experienced a painful 100 years. China must unite, China must be strong. Otherwise, Western countries will once again colonize and exploit Asia.

The greed of capitalists has no bottom line. For example, the United States, with less than 5% of the world's population, supplies about 70% of global plasma products.

Yes and I hope so. BUT China is still quite behind USA in Nominal GDP.

China is $21,000,000

USA is $32,000,000. This is Nominal GDP.

China still has a lot of catching up to do.

If China increases its population count to 1.8 billion people it could surpass USA in NOMINAL GDP.

One child policy is not a smart move. Pulling people out of poverty was smart by the Chinese.

A larger population drives the economy.

You can not win from someone in a game of his imagination. USD is a game imagined by USA and the rules are set by it, to benefit itself. China even competing with it in its own game is something to be applaud for. Stock market manipulations and control of USD is something still giving edge to US economically.

To earn $1 trillion, China need to produce products worth that much and then trade with whole world and sell those items to them. While USA can just print it. There is no comparison.

Why don't you have open elections where every Chinese is allowed to vote for his choice of leaders?
It is the job of the government in power to take care of its people like education and health and jobs but that is still not democracy. China has come a long way and it's progress is admirable but still not democracy.
Have a nice day

They have direct elections of leaders at the county and below levels. They have indirect or representatives elections of leaders above county levels. They figure there are many problems in direct elections when the people are not famiiar with the issues remote from their daily lives.

China call its system all-process democracy compared to the multi-party democracy in the West. In the Chinese system, the govs make good efforts to get different inputs from the people in different stages of their governance.

Communist party elections, yes. People's congress reps at different levels are open to different parties and individuals, though majority are CCP members.. Multi-party system has too much infighting.
Good excuse

Each country should have the system works for that particular country. China many decades ago also experimented with multi-party system, it was a disaster. Does only the Western multi-party democracy holds the Holy Grail of politics, I don't. know. Maybe one should also listen to Francis Fukuyama has to say about the subject nowadays. Is current Pakistani multi-party democratic system an effective and ideal political system for Pakistan ?

Pakistan has a hybrid system. Everyone knows that. The military makes all the key decisions.

Every day of my life is going very well.

China has transformed from weak to strong, proving that this political system is correct.

I do not expect Western capitalist countries to recognize the communist system. Western capitalist countries see communism as an enemy. No matter what we do, they can always find something to criticize and interfere with. We plant trees in the desert, and Western media criticize China for destroying the desert ecosystem.

Therefore, when Western capitalist countries express opposition, it proves that we are doing the right thing.

You ask why we do not directly vote to elect leaders. Why does the United States not directly vote to elect leaders? Why does the United States use the Electoral College? Why does the United Kingdom use the simple majority system? What is the purpose of having this extra procedure?

The responsibility of the ruling government is to take care of the people, such as in education, health, and employment. Has the U.S. government achieved this? All I see is ICE killing people and arresting Americans under anti-Semitic awareness laws. British people are arrested because of their speech. People in Western capitalist countries have protested multiple times, but their demands have not been met.

Ukraine has a system of nationwide elections, but the elected president has no ruling experience. The United States uses the Electoral College, and the elected president has only five years of political experience. The United Kingdom uses the simple majority system, and within five years, six leaders have been replaced.

This is the Western democratic electoral system. I have not seen any shadow of democracy; all I see is chaos.

Many people do not understand China’s political system. Some have misunderstandings, while others deliberately smear China’s political system.

China uses a representative election system. The United States uses the electoral college system, and the United Kingdom uses a simple majority system. None of these are true nationwide electoral systems.

In 2016, Democrat Hillary received 3 million more votes than Trump in the nationwide popular vote. However, Trump won.

In the 2024 UK general election, the Reform Party received 14% of the nationwide vote but only won 5 parliamentary seats. The Liberal Democrats received 12% of the nationwide vote but astonishingly won 72 parliamentary seats.

So, can the democratic election systems in Western countries really represent democracy?
