What a quick snap of history. AIr Marshal Asghar Khan wanted to procure these early warning system such as B-57 F and EC-121 etc.

I think it was you or Mastan Khan who was angry that why PAF spent money for 7 Erieye systems on the earthquake or flood.

If its about being angry, nobody can outperform Mastaan bhai .
I only troll 👀.

The earthquake was a mega disaster and credit goes to General Musharraf for dealing with it beautifully. I still remember all that, and was very impressed.
That may have included diverting parts of defence budget for disaster relief, and looking at how big the calamity was, it only made sense.

Anyway, the program also mentions that once a F107 strafighter A-type jammed phone communications. Even if the receiver is picked, the ringing didn't stop. PAF realised this tech early, but still took many years to re-equip Blinders due to lack of funds and sanctions.

The amount of رنڈی رونا indians did and almost succeeded, was a great part of PAF struggles.
First they convinced the Sweden into selling Pakistan the watered down version of Erieye.
Then when the sales did happen, they sent TTP to destroy the Erieye and they succeeded in both

But PAF perseverance paid off.

I had a big grin on my face In 2019 when IAF was spanked with the help of same Erieye, they tried to stop and destroy.
Yet the Erieye were there , when there was an actual need .

Then again I had a big grin on my face when PAF released the tail numbers of the Indian aircrafts they shot down in 2025.
That was the Vera-E system.
The Indians went too far to stop that too.
The Czech company which was the original manufacturer , when they were making a deal of Vera E woth Pakistan, the Indians with the help of their trusted friend USA , got the Czech company sold off to USA , stopping the deal in its tracks.
Somehow PAF still got the system, and built an entire electronic fingerprint of IAF jests . So much so thst they knew exactly which type and serial number they are tracking on the radar .

Though, wouldn't modern AESA allow you do fingerprinting anyway? Why only Vera-E?
