Pakistan Air Force Transport

Netherlands and Sweden are expected to retire their C130-H models startingnl late 2027. Some of the C130H with the Dutch AF are the stretched versions of the model.
After the ex-Belgian induction, pakistan should start the efforts towards getting the Dutch ir tge swedish airframes. This is needed to retire the B/E models and built the fleet to a healthier size.
Singapore may be on the look out for even more H models. They have already procured the Spanish inventory of C130H. However, i read somewhere that there may still be C130H spare parts with the spanish AF and the private firm blue space that can be procured by PAF.

That will be great, in fact, I think Pakistan should get the fleet up to ~20 planes to free up C130. 2 engines vs 4 engines. C27 could be a mini C130 and more.

Not funds, but operationally and logistically they were a bad fit for the PAF.

Both serve different primary roles. The C-27J is a heavier, "heavy-lifting" battlefield airlifter built for maximum payload and ruggedness, while the CN-235 is a lighter, more economical platform ideal for patrol and general utility.
Spartan shares lots of commonalities with the C 130.
it was some wt more expensive to buy than the CN 235, (price might have been the primary reason why PAF went for CN 235 in the first place), but this being second hand will be a lot cheaper to buy.
it a very capable ac and hence is referred to as mini herc

I think it's actually not a great aircraft and definitely bad idea for us. The largest operator is USAF with barely a dozen aircraft. Compare that to CN -235 and 295 around the world. Also there is no commonality between the J model and the C-130s PAF operates.
