Only a few years back there was so much clownish behaviour of Dubai being the ultimate retreat, people selling houses here buying over there, taking entire inter generational households on constant holidays there, learning the language and so on. It all went down the toilet very fast, and when I warned people about 10 years ago people told me I was being dramatic and the nation is 'super brother'.
Now it's Turkey, Qatar, Oman and so on. I'm sorry such people haven't got a clue. Your own are your own.
