Exactly, they didn't want India to split up
They wanted it all, even though it was a very very diverse place
Jinnah saw though all of this, he understood Partition was the only path, even he didn't really want partition, he simply saw no other way
The indians/Hindus wanted a hindutva extremist state
But if they said that, then multiple states would gain independence
So the pushed this bullshit of a United India for all
Got hundreds of millions of people stuck and then started to push the hindutva bullshit at state level and now openly refuse to represent hundreds of millions of indians who are not Hindus
For all the problems Pakistan has, Balochistan has Baloch representation
KP has pashtuns at the highest level of governance etc etc
